Title: 90th GShAP Il-2

Requested by Krusty, this is the Il-2 of Gheorgiy Beregovoy. He flew 185 combat Il-2 missions from 1941 to 1945, rose to the rank of Captain during the war and was made a HSU. After the war he became a test pilot and later the USSR's oldest cosmonaut, flying on Soyuz 3 in 1968. He became head of cosmonaut training and later retired from the Red Air Force with the rank of Lt. General.

I don't have a photo of this aircraft so I've had to base it on a couple of profiles I have of this aircraft. The markings are from the 90th Guards Attack Air Regiment in April 1945.
