Upload your picture to an ftp or hosting site. Then copy the url, put it in your thread.

Below the subject line, message icon, text options, are "insert image" "Insert Hyperlink" etc.

Click insert image, which will put a pair of image formatting brackets at the cursor. Put your URL between them.

Do you guys recommend one of those hosts as being the best for hosting films ie user friendly less ads etc.

Thanx

It's give and take between the three I linked. Mediafire has more ads, rapidfire is straight forward but is pretty restrictive, and megaupload is the cleanest look (IMO) but gives you something like 1 popup/24h.  Pretty negligible differences overall.

IMHO, I think Photobucket is pretty easy to use.  Either way, they're all free.  Try them out and pick the one that suits you the best.

IIRC you can't host ahf's, zips or anything other than picture or movie files on Photobucket.

Pictures, yes.  movies, no.  I use Mediafire for film clips.

Not to nitpick but.. he was asking about hosting films. Just for his information.  He'll go and try em all so it doesn't matter either way.
