If there are any small F4u squads out there that would like to talk joint ops or possible merger please pm me. Thanks.

VMF-251 has been actively recruiting. Unfortunately, Hog sticks of any sort are few and far between....
What exactly are you looking for?
-
what you got?
-
this is going to be good.
The 212th 17th 6th 8th etc... All merged into 1 squad.
it will either end in total Destruction with everyone not agreeing on anything or a massive squad able to take down anyone and anything using the Best plane in the game (I herd it was the F4U-4)
-
I'm actually hoping for a chance at head-hunting to fill roster spots more than anything else. :D After several false-starts I've come to the conclusion that if you want to form a multi-squad air wing the only way to really get it going is to do it internally.

You do understand that squad size in AH is maxed at 32 correct? Thats as 'massive' as a squad can get.

VF-10, and 880 Fleet Air Arm, have merged with VF-17 in the past few months and it's worked out great.

I recommend VF-17 if you're into CV planes

Looks like my post kinda got hijacked. Im not looking for a super squad. Just wanted to see if another Marine squad wanted to hook up on night a week to do missions.
-
Way back when, a group of VMF's banded together for Tour of Duty (now FSO). They also participated in join operations to some extent in the MA. These were Marine Air Groups (MAG). One of the more notable ones was MAG-33 which consisted of: Jim Bears VMF-111 "Devil Dogs", Redwings VMF-115 "Joes Jokers", Ripsnorts VMF-323 "Death Rattlers", Jebo's VMF-222 "Flying Deuces", Troxels VMFA-212 "Lancers" and ColBecks VMF-214 "Black Sheep".
You may want to consider a same type of alliance, individual squadrons forming a co-operative group.
-
If you get something together let me know were on Thur and Sun nights and we have our "Beer Bash-N-Crash" after FSO.

Now were talkin. I'd even fly one of those funny shaped winged planes. That dive like a bat out of hell. Just dont yell, if I forget to pull up.

Look up the VF-6 Fighter Squadron sometime. We do alot of co-ops with the opportunity knocks.
