I know some of the players have extensive data on the Corsairs.
Since I seem to shed wings quite easily, I was wondering if anyone has any G limit data on this series?
I'd love to see positive, negative and assymetric (rolling) G limits as well as the Vne airspeed (redline).

I have had the same experiance several times.
I have a previous post eluding to the same problem but nobody seems to care. I have read of pilots exeeding 11g's in F4U but in AH 3g's at 400mph will do the trick easily.
I have info that states a 7.5g positive and 3.5g negative g pull restriction but I have never heard of a wing failure in and F4U.
However P-51's disinigrating in flight was a problem that I have read about. I don't think there are enough F4 jocks in AH to get most problems resolved i.e. trim and directional stability.
Try "America's Hundred Thousand" for more thorough data.

Actually I am a diehard F4U pilot as you can tell by my CPID. All of these newbies to the F4U are only fly it for the cannons. I fly it for the wings and beer (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/cool.gif)

Yes, the F4u sheds its wings way to easy it seems to me.
