Title: Noseart Help

I have a noseart in my ah2 squads directory that is 64x64 bitmap but when I try to upload it it says "Bitmaps must be 64x64 in size and 256 color" I can only get 255 colors if anyone has an answer I would appreciate it.

You have to have a editing program that converts the Color to 256 color it can't be true color it won't except it.

I use ACDsee 5.0 Photo Editor, I'm sure there are others maybe someone else knows of a free program that does it.

I think MicroSoft Paint which comes with most PC's will do do that for you.  It's in how you save the file.

well i have paint and that dont give me 256 colors only 255

What can I tell you, Navigate into Paint,   Edit your picture, do a save as and under the file name is Save as Type : click on the drop down, you should see a Type listed as "256 color Bitmap", If you don't , I don't know what to tell you, something wrong with Paint.  Good luck.

Thanks so much Traveler it worked!  :D but one more thing do you know how long it takes to show up on your plane and vehicle?

It has to be approved by HTC via Skuzzy. He gets to them every now and then, be patient. You may need to have your squad clear out their squads folder to gt it, key word 'may'.
