...I haven't lost my touch. SAPP landing refresher course.
Darn hedges are tough in this game. No clue where all the parts went either. Must be scavangers following my 38 around.

I don't get it....you came in no eng, misjudged hedgerow and barely made a ditched landing. Kinda seems every day avoidance to me ....but I do like seeing you make mistakes like everyone else :lol
-
Look Ma no Runway! :D
-
Good Stuff :aok
After seeing you guys post quite a few of these now i`d say you was getting better at it Guppy, have you guys got a league going yet? you could have 1 point for each small part missing and 3 points for big peices. :lol
:salute

Ya'll think this is funny, but right now crew chiefs up in heaven are making the rain with tears for your transgressions.
one day i hope HTC pays them back, by having you spawn with a inoperable p-38 or two with little pink sticky notes saying "I told you that was the last time, so i hope you enjoy your flight. - Your crew chief". :rock :salute
Joking aside, very nice.
-
A hop, skip, and a flip..... not bad !!

Someday you too can learn to Land Kills in A P-38 Like me...

Lmao, Dan, every time you post one of these, you crack me up.
Barko, anytime you want to take your 38 up against the decent sticks, let me know so I can watch. That said, 25 isnt shabby at all.

Stop vulching and or rearming time and time again :aok
If you're actually fighting, there is no way to accumulate that many kills in PJ without geeking it up a bit, unless your soul, akak, del or cork! Hmm, I take that back, cork is kinda "goofball" like me and would never have the patience to accumulate that many scalps :D
-
Shreck he definately rearmed but he could have been flying with a wingman, headhunters used to piss me off in the MA because you would get on one and the other guy comes right in behind you :salute
-

Headhunters are great! A few of them taste like chicken :aok but only a few :salute
I like their style! Although a "GANG" of 80th 38s makes me----> shudder :uhoh
-
At least the tires still have air in them,,, must be Goodyear tires.... :D

I don't think Barko has ever been in the "HeadHunters", although he has been in a lot of squads. I know his 38 flying isn't that good, but now we know his "Photoshop" skills are very good. :D

Ah wasnt saying he was in head hunters but 38s are good rides for wing tactics, is that really a photoshopped pic....got me :cry
-
BTW corky, that landing isn't all that impressive, I do that on take-off :aok
Ofcourse it's VULCH-HORDE induced :D
-
Some day I hope to meet barko in his 38 so I can learn the dang thing. I hope he has patience cause I am a slow learner.
BTW the Headhunters are also known as the Hedgehoppers....... keeps the HH moniker. :aok

Hopefully you can pass the training to me when I get back into the game, then I can take my scorecard downtown and pick up all the chicks! ;)
-
Yeah women around here ask for your score card all the time and I'm married.

Probably 99% of those kills are GVs. If you look at his stats, he doesn't have all that many kills against planes in the P-38J. Actually, it seems that he really doesn't fly it all that much, the last tour is the only one where he's got over a dozen flights in the Lightning.

No one really cares.
Guppy, that was terrible. No broken props, and no oil damage. I'm not sure, but it looks like you didn't have a pilot wound to me.
F :)

+ 1 for the Hedgerow....muhahahahaha.
-
After looking at the first picture I was confused, I was like "he will get thrown out of SAPP for landing that good." Then after I scrolled down I got it. :rofl :aok

Mensa is perfect for his title ;) .

My sole purpose in the squad is to improve morale. Most of the time this is accomplished by being the butt of many a joke.

Well I was flying the J as it was a SAPP night and the 474th skin was the bird of choice. The J just isn't fair like the G. I can actually get away sometimes. I was out of fuel so the fact that I got a fire anyway with the crash is worth extra points :)
-
I give the landing a 5 Corky...all 3 wheels are still attached.
:uhoh
-
The real question is. Who dug a tunnel to get corky out ? :D
-
hmmmm looks like Shufflers 38,
im just sayin........ :cry
-
that hedgerow Ho's :furious

Naaa mine would be burning prior to the hedges. I only use high quality charcoal in my BBQ pit downstairs in my 38. It lites easily so I don't have to use that dangerous charcoal liter. The problem comes in when I accidently spill some cuervo when making margaritas in the blender that is upstairs. Boy that stuff ignites fast.
-
Picture was not Photoshopped in anyway. I got the Origonal Screen shots too.
As for Ack-Ack's Post, He's Right, I Havent been in the 38 that often this tour now that i'm in a P-47 Squad. And yes, Some were Ground Vehicle Kills and some were from a Noob Wanna-be-uber-player Diving his JU-87 On a CV. I killed him about 10 times. So yea, they wernt real fights, i Just got Lucky. :)
-
(http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/kk121/TheAmish/ahss43.jpg)the landing gear is still intact but then again I'm still a rookie in training :)
-
I like the levitating rockets. What they are doing on a 38 I have no idea though :)
-
forward flip was so last year, these days the pros do it with a hop, skip and a backflip onto the nose. . .
-
Wow uptown that's an impressively bad frame rate !
-
I think Dan is slipping, it is still recognisable as a Lightning :)
