Well if it belongs somewhere else it will get moved, I was riding with a friend in the game in his 262 and he shot down 3 Lancs. He got 2 kills and it gave me 1 kill as a rider, is this right? I felt really bad, and neither of us realized that this could happen.

dont feel bad ....you earned it no doubt..keeping pilots lap warm  :D
I think it can be the person positioned closest to kill who can get it.
seen it happen before

Too funny....... never saw that before. Would seem that if you can get kills you might have to pay perks if shot down.

LMAO.........   The better question is did you get perks for 1 Lanc?  (Never seen that happen before)

No I didn't get any perks, and I don't know if he got credit for a 3 but he was saying "I shot all three down but it only gave me credit for 2 of them" and that is when I noticed that it had given me credit for 1. :O

It happens.
I'm guessing he didn't actually shoot the third one. It was a drone that blew up when it "relocated" and you got the proxy before he could.

yep it happens, i notice it more in the DA when im watching a duel in the passengers seat.

Seems like the passenger gets all the proxy kills from my experiences.

I have never heard of this happening before, but WTG! on getting a kill without firing a shot!  :aok :P

Dunno bout the sharing of kills or how that works........ but I know you share the death

happened to me twice this month......... I had zero flights in as fighter,  rode along with a squadmate who got shotdown twice........ afterwards the score showed I had 2 flights/2 deaths

The reverse of this is fun too.  I've killed a plane and got 2 kill credits, one for the pilot, once for the observer.

i've shot down 3 bombers and got 4 kills....guess he had gunner     :rock
