I know this has been asked for before, but can we get this please?
How hard would it be to put a tailhook on the stock Hurri?

As far as my memory goes, The sea Hurricanes used in the war were launched by catapult from freighters... Only when an enemy was sighted... And then ditched in the ocean when their fuel ran out...
Those are the only ones I remember anyway!!!

Might be wrong, but don't remember reading about Hurri's on carriers... Got any operational info, or pics?

I think the brits used the Grumman Martlets, (wildcats) on carriers didn't they?? Then upgraded to F4U Corsairs late in the war...

They most certainly did operate off carriers.

Victorious, Indomitable and Eagle all had Sea Hurricanes flying off them in 1942. (Just off top of my head)

Looks like a CV to me :-)
