Title: Bailout but landed successfully?

I forgot to post earlier what happened to me in end of March.

At MWA I was chasing some bombers and the last bomber damaged me badly. I bailed out high above our own V-base and got a "you were shot down" message. But I never even got a chance to open the chute when I was suddenly in tower and had also got a "landed successfully" message. (screenshot below)

How can such happen?

BTW, I heard one guy say that such a thing happened to him before, can't remember who it was.

It's an old glitch, so I am told.  I mentioned it a few months back when my IL-2 hit a building at 200mph and "landed" and was told "It happens".

It would be funny if you got proxies while in a chute and landed them :rofl ,but i guess it would say the airplane

I was blown up in MW one time in the air and got a successful landing the same way u described it. I guess it's hard to keep up with technology HUH ::::))))
