Title: Aces High 2 quits suddenly

I downloaded internet explorer 8 because of problems with surfing the internet and ever since then when im right in the middle of the game (usually an hour after)the screen goes blank and I recieve an error message "aceshighexe. has stopped working"this is really anoying just imagine having 30 kills and game stops working I don't think It would be internet explorer 8 but,anyway If someone knows a solution please tell me thx.

If it was working before and IE8 is the only 'change' it could very well be causing it. Might need to see a Dxdiag report but I'd go through the usual things first. Check CPU usage, should heartbeat from 0 to 2% regularly, processes running, autoupdaters off, and so on and so on.
[ Assuming you are using WinXP and not Vista. ]
It might also be related to the same reason you were having trouble surfing the net too.

Having trouble imagining the 30 kills part.

well,this error has happened on some other games ive had but this started just recently on ah2 and do you mean cpu usage when idleing if so it is usually below 2% but goes up to 3% every now and then I dont really see anything wrong w/DxDiag and yes im using xp

Oh and the 30 kills thing i mean a lot of kills ive seen somone land 40 something kills spawn camping i like spawn camping myself :D

Try removing any custom soundpacks to ensure that's not causing your troubles. A dxdiag output would also be useful.

ive had the soundpack that i have a long time before this started its the game not my comp i really dont think its the sound pack but i might try it.

It's worth a shot. See if removing the sound pack fixes the issue(s).

I think it fixed it at least it didnt do it when i was on i think it usually does it an hour after i get on and i think i was on 2 hours so i think it worked thanks :aok

when does it usualy happen? is it ever when you roll a fresh plane form the hanger?
 If so check your selected gunsite for that plane, somethines a faulty gunsite can cause a crash for me.

It works now my sound pack was messing with it i guess but its fixed :aok
