After 12 years, I shaved off my mustache.
I feel so... naked....
:cry
-
weird..I shaved mine today, too
EDIT: wrong smiley
-
My lip is cold, and I can feel the breath coming out of my nose.
-
gotee anyone? :)
-
so sad :cry
To make it even worse. I was at the ball field cooking some burgers and hotdogs for the little kids that dont have enough money to come up there and ask what they could get with 3 pennies. Anyway Right about the time I had loaded the grill up full of stuff it started to rain...and it rained...and it rained...and I got soaked. So not only was my lip cold...my whole body was cold :frown:

Try having a head shaved like this

Tried shaving my head once, felt like my head was covered in velcro until it grew back. Plus my giant noggin doesn't look good naked- just like the rest of me.
-
When I shaved off my beard my son cried. :lol

If you water it, it'll grow back.
Trust me...
-
I accidentially hacked into my goatee one day.... so I shaved the rest of it off.
I hated it! :furious
My chin felt so naked.
Thankfully, facial hair doesn't take long to grow back. :rock

had to shave of my beard to go to a fancy dress party as Ozzy Osbourne, I think the missus actually went off me. Only time in the last 20 years.

I had a beard when I first met my wife, we were married for 10 years before I had to shave it off for my job (had to wear respirators and can't get a good seal on your face with a beard). She was a little nervous about how I'd look without it, actually so was I. Must not have scared her too bad, she's still here putting up with me.

Is the egghead a mandatory Serenity?
I still wear the marine's haircut-style from 1945 BTW, and that is a good style ;)
Anyway, while I like having a beard in winter, the missus hates it. I shave = I get more popular :t :t

Around here, its the hunting season beard. Start growing it a few weeks before deer season opens, and don't shave it until the season closes.
I feel bad for this guy- he said he wasn't shaving until the Cubs win the world series.

I feel the same way on the very rare occasions I shave my beard.
Oh and if you have a beard. And spend any amount of time outside. the worst times to save it is in the winter and in the middle of summer.
In the wintertime you freeze your face off. And in the middle f the summer you end up with tan lines LOL
-

LOL My daughter does the same thing.
She's 12 now going on 13 and has forbidden me to shave it again.

Thats part of the reason I shaved it off now- didn't want a frostbitten lip in the winter, but didn't want tan lines either. I had to get rid of it because-
A) Its against regulations for the Continental Army- no facial hair, and shave at least one in three days.
B) GF keeps complaining that it tickles.

Then your kissing her in the wrong places LOL

I will admit that it was kinda bristly. Was like a clump of pine needles sticking out of my face.
But I didn't realize how much older it made me look- I've gotten proofed twice so far today. :(

lol. I did it for three reasons. First, my hair was WAY out of regs when i showed up to the meeting and it needed to be cut. Secondly, It needed to be in regs from two weeks ago through this next week at Anapolis, and on through the National Flight Academy until June 26th, and I knew I would probably not get time to cut it in between. And third, a Marine Corps buddy of mine paid me $20 to let him shave my head.

Prepare for several weeks of velcro head and being stuck to your pillow in the morning.
-
Or just keep it shaved smooth and you can't go wrong.

Im sorry but this pic is just screaming "CAPTION ME"

Ok I feel better now

"I can't believe he didn't wake up while I shaved his head!"
-
velcro head is cool, the chicks love to touch it.
-
I shave my mustache every week or so, because it takes a long time for it to grow out. Plus, it never gets any longer than a millimeter or two, so it jus makes my lip look dirty. No beard hair, but that runs in the family, as does the wimpy mustache.
"Like, I know! He totally looks like Gollum!"

If I cut my hair before I get old enough to have look all respectable and toejam... I'll shave it bald.
I'm at the opposite end of the spectrum, though... and I dig my Gandalf locks.

LOL, ive done that on more than one occasion. My wife bought me a new electric shaver / trimmer that i swear i could mow the lawn with. First time using it i gave myself a reverse mohawk on my chin. Of course wife watched the whole thing, and in between fits of laughter, she said i looked like a little kid whose balloon popped.
-
I'd go a goo-tee but I would look like colonel sanders only a much poorer version. My hair is white.
-
Had a beard and the furry lip thing going on when i was in the navy. Always very short hair though.. use the trimmer and keep it at a steady 0.5mm all year. Reason for beard and lipfurr in the navy was because you didnt have to shave two times a day if you could keep the beard tidy. Never again i say. If i allow it to go beyond 2 days it itches like hell. The missus sais i look like an attractive bum though.

"Practically", aint "is".
And the sooner you realise this. the sooner you will realise what your "special purpose" is
;)

Yeah, that's my problem these days. I let it go for 2 days and it itches. But part of me likes the dirty rugged look.

My wife and children have never seen me without a beard and mustache. I have never shaved my mustache, and have not shaved my beard in over 25 years.

Didn't realize you were old enough to shave. :lol :lol
I'm 17. I've already had a goatee, mustache, soul patch, long sideburns, you name it. I even did I Lemmy but it didn't look right with my haircut. But I must say I liked to have a nice, smooth face, so I have to shave just about every other day.
BTW I started shaving when I was 14ish ;)
-
i have to shave about 3 times a day.. it's stupid. Especially for going bald up top. i used to get in trouble for not shaving at my last job when i had shaved that morning. I'm glad I'm working on a boat again. No one cares...and I have about the 4th biggest beard in town. I'm working towards #3...She's got a lot of hair though... :O

Try 20years +. The only time I shaved off my 'stache was when I went to boot camp in 1976. Then about 5 years ago I went naked until last year.
