Title: HELP!!! AH won't launch

Tried to launch the game, and it crashes. It never has done this before, black screens then back to desktop for me. New version?

Nevermind solved my emergency of no AH by rolling back to a restore point yesterday. Obviously my latest update to my video driver didn't play nice with AH.

Careful with restore points.  I have seen them cause more troubles than they were worth.

Based on your resolution, it sounds as if an old driver was interfering with a new driver. ALWAYS uninstall video card drivers before installing new ones. Never install newer or older drivers over active drivers.

Thank you all for your input. In all probability it was an unsuccessful or bad download of my latest video card drivers. Prior to installing any new drivers I always create a restore point and un-installed the old driver before installing the latest driver. I downloaded the newest drivers and successfully installed them today, and all is well, everything works fine, ( more importantly AH2 ). Anyway once again thank you for your advice, it really shows how this game and it's community that supports it is the best around.
