This thing was shot in Pilbara, Australia 3 years ago and it has finally been confirmed to be true, accurate, and in no way a hoax...
"The source said the 220kg(485 lbs) beast was eating a cow
when it was first seen by workers mustering cattle
in a helicopter. Mr Anick saw it again on a trip to
check windmills on the property and shot it."
Wow.... It was eating a cow... The cow ate grass... It'd be kind of like that Terducken thing.....? :huh

Thats big. There are a few hogs in America that get up to 1000 lbs. Neverless, that one pig eatting the cow would get that big too

Pigs will eat anything, the cow would've been dead and decomposed already. I often leave game I've shot (especially possums and goats) out for wild pigs. You can always tell the pigs have been at it as there is usually rooting sign nearby. They won't eat fresh kill, only rotten stuff.

Yeah, the picture was photoshopped a bit but it was proven that the feral pig was 800 pounds.

I think it is fake, I saw on T.V., and it was one of those mystery investigation shows, not one of those load of crap shows, and besides I checked from quite a few sources on the internet, friends involved in one of the world record books, etc., and it turns out that the world record as of 2005 for the biggest pig is 938lbs, and 8'10", or at least in that range, I may be wrong, I kinda have a tendancy to imagine figures in my head, and my brain uses them to replace the real numbers.

Well the first photo looks like it's around 800lbs and less than 8feet in length.
There have been people looking into the photo before too. The few investigations I read about pretty much all ended with the same conclusion: maybe yes, maybe no.
The ranchers that shot the huge pig are known for keeping a tight lip about the game on their property so as to not attract hunters... seems they like to keep it to themselves, and I'm ok with that (if I owned a ranch, I'd like to keep the nicest game wandering around on it to myself too... dead or alive). Besides, if their like most ranchers here in the USA, they probably have enough headaches on their ranch as it is with hunters sneaking around... no need inticing more to show up.
