Not that I like flying zeroes, but the clipped-wing version would be cool to have no?

While the smaller size and clipped wings of the Model 32 gave it a better roll rate and less drag that allowed it to reach speeds up to 420mph in a dive, it came at a price of reduced maneuverablity and shorter range from decreased lift and a smaller fuel tank. To fit the Sakae 21 that was used on the Model 32, the engine was moved back towards the cockpit, it forced the reduction in size of the main fuel tank. Think it also had a low production cycle and wasn't well thought of by the pilots that flew it.
I'd like to see the Model 32 added sometime in the future but not before we get IJAAF planes like the Ki-27 Nate or the Ki-43 Oscar.
ack-ack

+1 :aok
These planes really are needed.

I think the A6M3 Model 21 (or is it 22?) would be more competitive in the Mains. At the very least it would fill a nice gap for late-1942 (Model 32s began appearing during Guadalcanal) to late-1943, where the M2 is getting outclassed but the M5 is too late (VERY limited numbers of A6M5s until early/mid-1944).
But as AAA said, the Ki-43 and Ki-27 are MUCH more badly needed, as we currently don't have ANY IJAAF aircraft covering 1941 to early/mid-1943 (Ki-61 being a mid/late-1943 bird, IIRC).
