Hey Skuzzy! How about making Blue into ans AvA setup to commemorate D-Day? Use one of the AvA or FSO maps (i like the UK/West Europe myself) & set only two sides please (sorry you VVS/Italiano lovers; you would just have to fly Orange that day). Come ON! D-Day deserves SOMETHING special.
p.s. How about restoring chat privileges to all offenders under sentence for the day too? Or declare a general amnisty for all days remaining on text muters if your are too lazy....er, I mean "occupied with serious HTC business" to give us something special for Blue arena. :D
Thank a WWII vet on June 6th; it is the least we can do.

The CM's there are usually very open to such setup requests. This one, however might be a little bit too late ;)

Why futz around with the AvA set-up for one day? Better to do a "1 day special" in a MA IMHO.

What does unmuting the retards have to do with D-day? They're muted because no one wants to listen to their crap. How would turning them loose honor vets in any way?

Well, we could hope they learned their lesson; if they fraque-up again then they get another 8 days. Si far as honoring the vets, it does not directly do so but they muted MIGHT have something useful to contribute to text chatter regarding the day.
Why are the only replies negative so far? Does nobody have anything positive to say today? Did we grognards miss our bran & prune juice this morning?

What you want is simply shutting down one arena. I do not see the point in doing that.

yes! AvA staff members are great about putting up the setups people ask for. Unfortunately your request was a bit too late. I just put in a new set-up yesterday. Make sure to pop into the AvA forum/arena sometime.
