Title: 56th FG
Post by: BMathis on June 05, 2009, 04:02:10 PM
I was asked to make a quasi squad picture for Barko... I wasn't sure what or how exactly, but I made this one from scratch.  :salute

If you'd like it smaller or whatever, just let me know.

EDIT: Hang on, I saw some things I didn't like - editing now

K better  :)

Hey BMathis, I didn't realize you were a 56th. Back in AW I was in the squad and went by the CPID Tig. Anyways good to see the squad lives on, and love the logo.

Mathis, what tools and techniques did you use to add the props?

Mathis, what tools and techniques did you use to add the props?
I cropped a single prop off a real plane (Still shot). Make a new layer, then I sized it to fit the jug. Then copied the prop 3 more times, moving it to the correct position (it wasn't perfect that's for sure).

After the Props are in place, I Merge the layers.  Then select the Oval Marquee tool, and while holding Shift, drag a circle (not an oval) over the props. Move it to cover the props.  Then Use the Radial Blur Filter. Make sure the Blur is enough to get them to look like they're spinning.  That should do it  :aok
