Thanks Mathis! Everytime you post a new one it becomes my background for a week or so.  Fellow WWII buffs at work always asking "Hey where do you get these?"  Great Work!  :aok

I think it looks AMAZING!  Only thing I can find is the lightning seems a little out of place.  But that does that take away from the picture 10/10.

I think the clouds are a bit too bright for lightning. Otherwise, lovely cumulonimbus clouds! :aok

Yea, I think you're right.  But my eyes were not working by the time I finished this.  :lol

They look to be just about right (or could even stand to be brighter depending on the angle of the sun) if you were flying alongside a thunderstorm.

Just checked my restored files (only a fraction of what I had) from my recent computer crash/failure and I don't have any photos that illustrate the point  :(

I've seen many thunderstorms living in Houston.  :) The Sun in this pic is from right shining to the left; it had to be b/c of the Planes... I flipped the clouds I added to create the same shadowing.

Yes, the clouds will obviously be brighter since you're above the overcast meaning light can reach the cloud formation.

I suppose what I meant to say is that the clouds don't entirely fit the picture. The clouds look like a ground-view while the planes appear to be at altitude. Doesn't completely match. I do like it, though!
