Post by: leonid on January 11, 2001, 06:52:00 PM
Can you tell us which planes are going to have variants produced for 1.06?

Or atleast give us some useful hints so we can speculate!  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

How about some twin engine stuff like Me 410 or A-20? Don't seem much of them in arena. Of course I'm happy just to get new planes!

We just must have the He-219 Uhu.   (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif) It was the first operational plane with ejection seat and pressurized cabin. Twin engine, 416mph for the A-7/R1 and 435mph for the A-7/R6. 4 forward firing 30mm and 2 forward firing 20mm, plus 2 upward firing 30mm. They would fly under the Lancasters and shoot their fuel tanks (didn't want to hit the bombs and get themselves killed too   (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif).

As a fan of the Uhu, it pains me to say that it would be easy meat in the MA, the way it is structured now.
The Schrage musik would be a great asset..however limited it use would be

With armament like this and the gunery skills of most of the MA this thing would be certain death in a snapshot or on your 6.

The He 219 would be great fun, but i think we are almost missing a very good point hear....A good way to introduce night to the game. Ultraviolet instrument lighting, a onboard radar display u had to work to find your target, moonlight so ground troops could see to a certain extent, starshell's flairs, lightfloats....It could be done and it would be fun, but would they spend the time on it, or make us new planes and maybe add a submarine capability instead?
