Title: ~~ New Mission ~~ Two Planes One Pilot

This is a high-alt mission that does not devolve into a ground level dogfight.

The P-38 plays the role for which it was conceived, a high altitude interceptor.  The Ki-67, a fast and well armored Japanese bomber provides the opposition force.  While the sides are numerically even, the flights are spread out a bit, so the merge for each route is different.

This is no cake walk.  I couldn't land the mission after more than a dozen tries, but I'm not an experienced P-38 driver.  So, I'd really like feedback from someone who has mastered the P-38.

Fun mission ... really had to work to shoot dwn the 38, you planned it well...I enjoyed playing this mission. Thx   :)  :salute

1st try- downed 3 and 1/2 formations of 4, lost 1 engine oil, lost all but 3 of my squadies (all of um fell below the clouds), and wandered alitle too far above the last 2 Ki's, into 4 different guns, lost my tail, and died before i could even see the ground....AMAZING MISSION  :salute

Now for a taste of those bombers...
