Title: Looking to improve
Post by: maddafinga on June 11, 2009, 04:24:19 PM
So I've been back on sims (in AH only really) for about 6 months or so now after a  long layoff of about 8 years.  I've been studying films, of myself and others, and reading quite a bit as well, and I do feel like it's helped.  In general I feel like things are juuuust beginning to click a little for me, but I can't quite seem to get there, yet.

What I'm looking for really is a trainer to work with about once or maybe twice a week.  Not on any one thing in particular but on acm in general.  I feel like just getting some one on one work in with someone who really knows what they're doing would help push me up a rung to the next level.  I just don't really know how to push myself up and actually learning things in the arena is very hard to do given the nature of the MA.  I'm at a level where I feel like I'm probably a bit better than average, but not nearly where I want to be.  I just want to keep improving, I want to be able to hold my own with the top tier of guys.  I want to have better fights, and I need help to get there.

Anything that anyone could offer would be great.

Thanks.

Oh yeah, I got a whole CH rig and TrackIR to go along with it.  I'm used to using it all again and am good to go as far as all that goes.  I've been back for about 6 months, so I'm comfortable with the flight model for the most part.  I never used the stall limiter and don't use the combat trim anymore.  I've only in about the last month gotten re-adjusted to the gunnery while using TrackIR too.  All in all I feel like I've come up to being pretty ok, I just want to get better.

Earliest I'll be available is Sunday evening. I'm out of town until the. I also have some time set aside with Dragon.
If that works let know when CT time. I'll set it up so I can provide both of you a few hours.

Not a problem.

Have you set up your stick yet? If not, we begin there....

NP, I go back on Thursday for a last 4 days for my work rotation. The next rotation will be better and give me some more time. WHen I get home I'll get a look at my sched and post availability.

Also looking to improve my ACM and combat tactics, I'm available most nights and Sunday evenings. Are there any other trainers that do it during the week?
