Title: ground vs full vis
Post by: flatiron1 on June 16, 2009, 12:04:11 PM
I am confused as to how theses are to display. Looks like I have more clutter with ground vis than on full vis.

Full vis displays more terrain tiles (farther out, to the horizon or whatever), while ground vis displays more ground clutter but with less tiles. Looks like crap from the air, but it's better for GV'ing.

The "clutter" you see in ground vis will also make it easier to spot a GV (especially from the air) because it seems to skew the rendering engine more towards generating "ground" objects (like a GV).

My general rule of thumb is Full Vis when flying and ground vis for Air to ground attacks including gv bombing and also when in a GV.
