Title: <S> Yet Again, Rooks
Post by: thndregg on June 16, 2009, 11:01:18 PM: Received requests tonight from a few Bish to put up a B17 Mission with escort volunteers bringing thier own rides. We headed out in our climb, but not long into the mission, a few resourceful Rooks split off from thier main blob and found our group. Rooks, it was a firefight all the way to your side of the pond and back. You guys were a persistant bunch all the way through and it made for some fun fights all around. <S> all that fought us and flew with us. Fun times! :cool:

That MoM event was earlier, this was a different Mission later that evening, 10 to 12 sets B17's with escort
and plenty of opposition

You guys did pretty good at keeping the escorts hung up. Good idea while the 109's/190's etc.. came at us. :aok

The 38 is very effective at killing 17s.
