I want to chop a section from a song, and set it as my ringtone. What can I use to edit the track and accomplish this? Is anyone good with this willing to chop it for me if I accomplish complete failure? :D
-
You can chop the track with Audacity, but even then on most phones you can't load ringtones from a memory card so you might be screwed.
-
Shoot..I bet I cant save directly to phone memory? :(
-
What phone is it?
-
corny little moto rokr.. z6m they might call it too....?
-
Looks like you might be able to with that phone.
-
Appreciate it, gonna give it a whirl and see what happens. Im not sure what folder I will save the edited audio track too.. Trial and error i guess. :aok

This is a real squeak... :D

Do you just have a memory card, or do you have the micro usb to hook it direct to your computer? If you have the cord you might try finding Mototools or whatever it's called.
-
Yeah I got the cord plugged in, ill check out moto tools.

make the recording, then send it to yourself as a text. then you should have the option to set it as ringtone. it works on verizon phones anyway.
