Title: Wednesday Night Mission 6.24.09
Post by: Larry on June 20, 2009, 05:17:35 PM
As always kick off is 8PM CST.

This week will again be US forces attacking German strategic factories but with a twist from last week. Instead of heavy bombers the allies will be in B-26Bs.

Allies A15: 7.9.8 sector

B-26B - Please no higher then 20K

P-38J - Please no higher then 25K
P-47D-25    ''
P-51B        ''

Axis A195: 11.10.9 sector

Bf109G-2 Please no higher then 25k
Bf109G-6        "
Bf109G-14      "
Fw190A-8      "

I ask that Axis fighters do not pass the white line which is the vertical 10 line until bombers show up on radar or are visually spotted from behind it.

I ask that if an AvA staff member can change the radar settings before the mission rolls so that each side cant see what the other one is doing until they are in a radar ring. Disabling darbar and reducing radar range to 40-45k looks pretty good since there are so many bases on this weeks map.

Is that a 38J I spy?  Looks fun Larry, I'll see if I can get the squad mates to make an appearance. :)

To prevent people from going above 25k you could have some sort of radical wind layer.

If the staff want to do that they can. We've never had anyone go over the alt limit and mess the mission up. I lead the bombers, VWE leads the axis, and theres always someone that's leading the escorts that is trusted and knows not to get to high.

Anyway you can include P-51D in the mix. After all, it WAS just coming into service. :D

There are D ponys spread out over the map, but they are like 50 miles from the base everyone else will be taking off from. If a few of you want to fly em be my guest. I just didn't want everyone to pass up the Bponys to fly the P51D.
