Title: Radio station :P
Post by: Tmac7 on June 22, 2009, 06:05:25 AM
I'm not sure if its been asked. I have 5 minutes til i have to go to my Final's. Finally last day of testing. But anyways, I would think it'd be cool if you could have Vox for talking to squadies etc etc. And then have option between communication vox and radio vox with downloaded songs from HTC and certain stations with certain genre. And if you don't like the songs you have you can have a songs file on HTC folder and put your own music.

Just a thought i had on my mind, Not really a vehicle or plane

Are you talking about actual broadcasted radio, or your own mp3's?
The game BF1942 Vietnam had that option, pretty cool listening to your own music ingame!
So at least technically it's possible  :aok

but i can't minimize the game if i want a different playlist not enough ram or something it freezes up everytime. And yes MP3 but actual radio broadcast would be better too :P

I've seen this asked for before little brother................

But it wont happen.

Legally...... HTC has to buy the rights to any music that is played in game.  Either pay out a monthly or per play royalty...........  Or buy elevator music and own the rights to it.   But do you really want to listen to Micheal Bolton while dogfighting?   :O

Meh i just have my Ipod next to me but thought it'd be alot easier in-game but yeah it'd raise the price of the game because of rights to play and stuff

I loved having the option to turn on music in-game on BF Vietnam. However, wouldn't HTC have to get permission to get the songs, for us to download, and to listen to in game? I'm not sure how hard it would be to program a vox for "Music/Broadcast". To me it sounds alot harder than going out, buying a stereo, and listening to your music on that. There are stereos for CD or iPods, so it doesn't matter if you just have an iPod or just a CD, you an still pick what song you want to listen to plus steroes aren't that cheap (I bought mine for $70 at Radio Shack).

This is true and yes they would =[ I just hate having earphones in while my headset is on and i cant listen to radio cause my headset plays  the in-game noises so it blocks it out =/. But i'll live :P just had a thought on my mind at the time
