Title: Your own ack guns??

 Today i was landing my f4u on the run way suddenly the ack starts firing at an enemy way above the i come to a complete stop.... all of a sudden our own base ack started firng at the same plane and started to hit me and i died ... i think HTC should fix this its happend several times

i got a PW from a friendly puffy ack as i was chasing bombers, on the first hit too lol. You know puffy ack is useless on bombers when your own CV hits you instead of the nme bombers...

it still should be fixed...ive had so many kills lost from friedly ack

I ones lost 50 perks to friendly puffy ack, well guess what, it's realistic

Why should it be "fixed"? Was RL  ack unable to hit & kill friendly planes?

No it wan't. Our own auto ack is even far less dangerous to friendly cons than it's RL counterpart - It never aims for you.

RL ack gunners did often shoot first and asked questions later - see German losses to friendly fire during Operation Bodenplatte...

It's not a bug and as such, doesn't need to be fixed.  Suck it up and stop being a baby.

You have film?  I'd like to see this.  Friendly ack injuries, up until now, IMHO, is dead on.

I have never been killed by friendly auto ack. I have lost my engine oil on a cv, but never die from it.

i get jacked by friendly AA all the time but no losses.

Hehe, almost lost my kills to friendly ack this morning. Landed my Yak with two kills, and as I was rolling down the runway to stop an enemy plane flew by our base. Friendly ack fired at him and only hit me once, but it took my rudder off! Nearly crashed off the runway trying to steer my plane only to find out my rudder is gone. Quickly used wheel brakes to save myself.

 Ack doesn't bother me it's those trucks that fly across the runway that are really annoying.  :furious
