Did Hartmann perhaps fly 2 different paint schemes on the G-14?

Hartmann spent a brief time in JG53.

The Bf-109 skin Rattfink is talking about is in fact a G-14. Only thing missing is the Black Tulip on the nose. Hartmann had it removed (which his crewchief was more than happy to do) after a short while due to his kill count dropping dramatically. He did give the plane to rookies for as soon as the Russins saw the plane, they turned and ran. After he got rid of it, his kill count started climbing again. The skin we are talking about is pretty much the same paint schem either way, its either do u want the black tulip on the nose or not. In the video you can see his G-14 pull up and looks close to the same as in game.

It's listed in The Blond Knight of Germany as a G-14. Werknummer block 166000 (this bird is 166221 as denoted on the 3rd profile, which is the most accurate based on the photographs of the bird I based the skin on) contained both G-6's and G-14's, so it could be either.
