Tooltips work correctly in window mode. Tooltips work correctly for default FSX aircraft in VC for both full screen and window mode.
The gauge tooltips do not display correctly when using the Virtual Cockpit in full screen mode for some addon aircraft.
I have tried to adjust FSX setting from Utlra to Minimal and also from 1680×1050x32 to 1034x768x16, which had no effect.
Anyone know how to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

You probably have a System32 file, delete and reboot
-
That happened to me once after I installed a new aircraft. After I restarted both game and computer, everthing worked fine.

Captfish - Stop and Reboot did not work..... but thanks for the response.
Flipperk - Delete which file in System32?
-
Don't delete any files. Just ignore the troll.
This is a known problem going back to day one of FSX. The only answer I ever received for the tooltip scramble problem was "Run in windowed mode." If you happen to find a better answer, please tell.

Did it stat happening after you downloaded an airplane or some scenery? I heard it can mean you are running an FSX expansion pack plane on regular FSX ,
-
Have you tried WideViewAspect=True in FSX.cfg?
-
Made the .cfg WideScreen change, it had no effect. Thanks for the suggestions.
I did some more troubleshooting and discovered that I can create and resolve this error at Dawn. If I set the time to Dawn and switch the Landing Lights on, I get the error, if I toggle though the gauge lighting, the issue goes away. This chain of events can not be duplicated at Daytime. The error is constant.
So the error appears to related to Daytime rendering. Still searching for an answer.
