Title: 56th FG P-47D flown by David Schilling
Post by: mx22 on July 13, 2000, 12:28:00 PM
Hey guys,

Does anyone has pictures of this plane that show upper wing surface detail? I have couple of pictures and drawings, but neither shows that.
Can you either post pictures here or send them to my email at mx22@bellatlantic.net

Thanks,

mx22

Ahhh, I have already found that there is no pictures showing this detail, so it's all up to artist's imagination  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

I grew up in the town that is the home to Schilling AFB (now closed)...Salina, KS.

Named after David Schilling.  There used to be pictures of him and his 47 there.

Yep there are pictures of his plane, but in profile only. None show the camo on uppper wing surface.

I couldn't find anything more defined or clearer in colors.
