Title: saitek headset
Post by: james on July 01, 2009, 12:00:31 PM
Was looking at the saitek pro flight headset they have. Seems like it would be better for someone who would play for hours. Does anyone use it and what would you say the good and bad points of it are?

Bit hard to fit it if you have big head, ear cups could have been a bit bigger also. Mute button is useless (mute switch would be better).

Sound quality is very good.

I am currently using the Turtle Beach X1 headset. Sound quality is excellent and comfortable too. It is actually set up for the XBOX 360 but is compatible with a computer... so you get the best of both worlds... Here is a link for it if you are wondering what the price and specs are...

Oh right on! Thanks again! I'll check that out. The plantronics
one I currently use hurts my ears after about an hour or so.
Comfort and reliability are the most important side of the next
upgrade.
