I know there was a post about this somewhere but I have failed to find it.
My question is do squads that use ' squad ' as vox have an actual number allocated for the squad?
-
I could be wrong, but from everything I've seen, it just "connects" the players that belong to that squad, instead of anyone who's got a three digit vox number tuned in. The only number you see and really need to know is "4", just like text.
-
yep, just the peeps in the squad can talk and hear on squad channel and the only ones that can read the red text.

Ok . This I understand. But with all the squads out there using ' Squad ' as their channel, how is it differentiated between squads... is there a number associated with each squad who use this? the reason I ask is, is there any way to invite people to your squad channel without inviting them to your squad.
[The only number you see and really need to know is "4", just like text.] I'm not sure I understand this......no let's be honest :lol...I have no clue as to what you are trying to say here but feel I should....

No they have to be in your squad to hear your squad talk. They can still be tuned to squad vox they just wont hear you.
-
Only players belonging to your squad can hear and see squad vox and text.
By "4", I mean that that's the only visible number you'll see. Squad text is "4" in any of the first four channels in your radio window, and squad vox is also "4" in the right-most (tunable) channel in same radio window.
To have your squad and non-squad players all on the same channel, you'll have to pick some 1xx or 2xx channel. 100s are audible only within the country, while 200s are audible to anyone who tunes in. You'll probably want to check that a channel is empty before having everyone move to it :)

Cool thanks guys.
