Hello,
When in flight or on the ground I can see red marks in the trees and red outlines on the runways sometimes.
I can't see out of a bomb site. It fades in and out( looks like wierd clouds ). Also the buttons on the clipboard
are black somtimes. If I'm flying, the planes futher than 2K out are squares. Sometimes a bad guy will come at me
and his icon doesn't show red or green. So I don't shoot just incase it's a friendly. Any thoughts?
I have adjusted the video settings with no improvements. Thanks

sounds like a video card issue. Drivers most likely.
What kind of video card do you have and which driver set are you running?

Not sure the make of the card. It's not very powerful. only about 64meg. I've played AH with a basic work laptop and didn't have
this issue. I'll check the drivers.

Could we have a look at the first 1/3rd of your DxDiag report?
-
what is it and how do i get it????
-
from your desktop click Start--->Run type in the box dxdiag and when it loads click on the save tab there.
copy/ paste here only the first third of the report it generates, and we may be able to help you out.

I have noticed several display issues since getting my new PC. DL'd AH and it actually runs worse. Is there anything in this info that you would think would cause this?
I have taken it down to 256, still only get a max of 20-30 FPS. Ground Vis Mode almost locks it up totally and instead of dots I see a large dark square around all aircraft.
Ideas?

Do you notice red triangles on the ground or red outlines on some of the runways?
No, sounds like you got it worse than me, j/k. ;) Hope we both get it worked out.
-
Both of you are running laptops with an onboard video chip.
The art problems you are describing I believe are driver related. I have no idea what the best drivers are for the video chipset you have, sorry.
I can tell you that onboard video is not usually the best. However you should be able to get it playable. Someone else here may be able to help you sort out what driver version is best for your set-up.
Low FR may be attributed to an overworked cpu. When I launch AH on my desktop I have no more than 29 or 30 processes running. The fewer things you have running in the background the more resources your cpu has to devote to running AH.
And finally, I see both of you also have onboard sound versus a sound card. You should run acceleration at the 3/4 mark for better performance too I suspect. (Start----Run type In dxdiag and when that screen loads click on the sound tab and set the slider back a notch...may help a bit).
cheers and GL

Thanks RTR. I can play. It seems to help when I have my res turned up. I'm now running the hidh res pack.

I had the square around the planes when they were further than 5k. I increased my display res to 1280 by 720. that seem to help.
