Welcome, and don't feel too bad if you don't get "good" right away. This game is good in that everyone finds thier nitch, whether it be tanks, bombers, fighters, gunnery, etc...
Have fun. <S>

Welcome aboard.
Valuable info can be found at
http://trainers.hitechcreations.com/ A few sessions with one of the trainers will help soften the learning curve.
Also, check out www.netaces.org.
Good luck :aok

Hi there,
I just typed a similar link list for a new squaddie, so here you go:
This shows you how to set up your views... You can't fight what you can't see.
http://trainers.hitechcreations.com/views/views.htm
Here is Murdr's head positions file. This is a quick-fix for the head positions. You may still want to make minor adjustments.
http://trainers.hitechcreations.com/files/murdr/hpsfiles.zip
You're going to want to extract those to: HTC/Aces High II/Settings/Planes
This talks about Situational Awareness...
http://trainers.hitechcreations.com/sa/sa.htm
Here you can find detailed writeups for most planes...

Enjoy your stay :)

Welcome to Ah.
Don't get too caught up in the "I have to get good" routine. Just have fun and get stick time in your favorite ride and before you know it you'll find your improving.
-
Welcome to the cartoon world!!! One thing though watch out for the 38 pilots they have margarita machines built in so there usually flying pretty crazy and on the edge. :salute

The secret is to enjoy the journey, AH is one of those places where you may never really arrive.
Treat people with a reasonable amount of respect and consideration, find something you enjoy doing and go do it.
Expect that something to change over time as you grow in knowledge and experience.
-
This is the best thing about AH... All these random people just happy to see new people and help out. Type of thing you just can't find on consoles.
Welcome <<S>>
-
Thank you all :)
Sure like the P 39 for starters.

Thank you all :)
Sure like the P 39 for starters.
Great aircraft, will be nice to see more of them in the air.
Don't get to good in it though, you'll upset people who say it's a hangar queen and would have rather had their uber-rides added :)
-
Nothing wrong at all with learning a lesser plane. When you get good in it, think of how you'll do in a later model.
-
Good luck to ya. Pick up a 38, you get two of all the important parts.
-
Yes do.P 38's make great 50 cal fodder :D

Here's what to expect from your new found addiction:
Phase I: How do I start the engine? Where's the gear? What's a flap? How do I land?
Phase II: Damn, killed again! Damn, augered! Damn, killed again! Damn trees!
Phase III: Wohoo... a kill! I wanna do that again! (true addiction begins)
Phase IV: Man I suck. I need help.
Phase V: I'm bad! I rock!
Phase VI: I suck! I rock! I suck! I rock! Damn trees. ...
Welcome.
-
BEWARE of the P-38 :t and Wife ACK or Grandma ACK or Dog ACK, etc...
