The video is spreading like crazy, United has contacted him already!
-
man i wished i had speakers at work !!
-
:lol that's good.
-
:lol I liked one of the lines in a corresponding news article
"United Airlines tried to contact Mr. Carroll, half of the Halifax band Sons of Maxwell, after he released his song online Tuesday but he was too busy doing interviews about the story to speak with the airline himself."

That is a underground hit in the making , LMAO .

ouch.. horrible music but funny story :)

truth hurts

Normally, I don't listen to country or rap. These too are priceless!! :aok
-
I'm the same way. I find rap to be pointless and country to be a channel for complaints. Yet both of these videos had some form of hysteria embedded within.
-
hahahah a great video,
here's a video two doctors made about the London Underground,
Warning contains explicit language

:rofl :rofl Both were hilarious. Our family loves Southwest and will always use them, unless traveling somewhere they don't fly. That rap confirms Southwest is better. :lol
-
Outstanding.
-
I've always had a good experience with Southwest, maybe I'll run into that guy someday. :)

As much as I learned to HATE Frontier airlines with a vengeance, I do like their employees. They're hilarious making announcements, and the plane captain himself had dominos deliver 16 pizzas to a plane on the taxi way during a 5 hour diversion.

I honestly don't see any difference between they airlines - they've pretty much all pee'd me off at sometime or another.
United do have more legroom than most.

Thats interesting as they have one of the better products out there. Apparantly your one airline flight on them caused you some grief?

BTW
I had a Amsterdam - Amman - Amsterdam flight with Royal Jordanian Airlines sometime ago and it was excellent. The A319 was very very comfy in tourist class and the service was brilliant.

2. Heres the full story. I was flying from Omaha to Denver to San Antonio. Got on final approach to Denver and then got diverted to Pueblo due to weather. Flaps and gear were already down when we turned. We were at pueblo for 5 hours and the airline didnt bring any food to sell. They would give out the drinks and all passengers were allowed is 1 cup of water. Thats why the plane captain, on his own dime and own initiative ordered the pizzas. We finally got to denver 5 hours late and I missed my flight. I talked to customer services (The line to get there was literally 4 hours long) and they said they couldn't get me on any flights for at least 2 days. I told them I was an unaccompanied minor to try to get some sympathy. They wouldn't even give me a meal voucher and told me to just sleep in the airport for at least 2 days. I was so fed up with them I demanded a flight on another airline. They said they could fly me to Houston the next afternoon and transfer me to Continental to get to San Antonio. So I slept in the airport until 3 the next day. When we boarded the plane, we got to the runway, and pushed to full throttle to take off. All of the sudden we throttled back, applied reverse thrust and got off the runway. The captain announced we were delayed again due to weather. So we sat on the runway for an hour. I got to houston late and missed my connection. Continental couldn't do anything because I didnt fly in on them, and there was no on working for Frontier. Continental didn't have another flight for at least 2 days either. So, I had my girlfriend drive from San Antonio to pick me up. 2 days later, Frontier called me saying my bags were waiting for me in San Antonio, and if I went to the airport before eight pm someone would be there. This was at 6 thirty pm. So I left immidiately, got to the airport at seven pm, and looked for anyone. No one working for frontier was in the building. I called the number I was given, but only got the message, which said they were open from 4 am to 8pm. It was about 7:15. I paged them in the airport 5 times and got no response. FINALLY at 8 pm someone showed up and said the schedule had been changed for weeks but no one told me. I've never had something like that on any other airline, and my flight home on American was GREAT! Free movie, flights were early, and at every gate there was a rep to tell everyone which gate to go to so you didnt even have to find a departures screen.

Well the various bits of malarkey would be easier to sift through if you had used a reasonable sentence structure. Someday I hope you learn that you don't need to add various untruthful details to your story for it to have a good effect. As it stands your paragraph ranks right up there with you catching a beat down from a couple pineapples and I have to say I believe perhaps only every third word.

Buddy, its all true, and I have friends and family member who had to hear it all as it happened not to mention how many hundreds of other passengers in the same boat as me. Hell, another passenger on my plane was going to San Antonio too. If you need someone with a better reputation than mine to attest, I can have my girlfriends dad verify it. Or is an Army Warrant Officer probably a liar too?

Golfer doesn't have any faith in the younger people and enjoys ridiculing them. I had to go through that too; better off just leaving it be.

Yeah, I've been really good at just ignoring people who bring that crap up, I've already answered for it, no point in ruining that over him. Thanks.

I have no doubt that you didn't arrive at your destination at your planned time. I don't doubt you slept in the airport. I doubt some of the details that you as an individual, not as a young person in general as Ooz suggested, have included in your story.
A CSR on their worst day isn't going to tell you to sleep in the airport. In fact Frontiers own Contract of Carriage states:
2) Delay, Misconnection, or Cancellation - To the extent possible, Frontier will provide
onward transportation to passengers delayed or misconnected due to schedule
irregularities or cancellation of flights or service.
a) If the delay or misconnection is caused by Frontier, Frontier will transport the
passenger without stopover on its next available flight in the same or higher
booking class, at no additional cost to the passenger. If Frontier is unable to
provide onward transportation that arrives within four hours of the passenger’s
original itinerary, or at the passenger’s request, Frontier will arrange for the
passenger’s transportation on another carrier or combination of carriers with
whom Frontier has agreements for such transportation.
b) If Frontier is unable to arrange alternate air transportation acceptable to the
passenger, the cost of unused flight coupons will be refunded in accordance
with Rule 260 – Involuntary Refunds.
c) Frontier has no obligation to accept another carrier’s ticket that does not reflect
a confirmed reservation on Frontier, unless the issuing carrier reissued the
ticket for any changes in routing. In the event the other carrier is not able to do
so, Frontier reserves the right to reroute passengers only over its own route
system between the points named on the original ticket.
Followed by:
D. Amenities/Services for Delayed Passengers
1) Lodging - Passengers will be provided one night’s lodging when a Frontier flight on
which the passenger is being transported is:
a) Diverted between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. to an unscheduled
point with a delay expected to exceed 4 hours.
b) Late causing a passenger to miss a connecting flight and alternate
transportation is not available until after 6:00 a.m. the next day.
EXCEPTION: Hotel accommodations will not be furnished:
a. To a passenger whose trip is interrupted at a city that is within 100
miles of the passenger’s permanent residence.
b. To a passenger whose trip is interrupted at any point en route when
the interruption is due to local, en route, or destination weather
conditions or any traffic control delays.
2) Ground Transportation - Any ground transportation provided will be via public
transportation.
3) Extraordinary Circumstances - Frontier will provide amenities consistent with
special needs or circumstances, as it deems reasonably necessary to maintain the
safety or welfare of certain passengers such as those individuals with a disability
or unaccompanied children.
4) Snacks/Meals - A passenger will be provided with one snack or meal if the delay
caused by Frontier to the Passenger extends beyond normal meal hours.
Your shortcomings as a passenger don't make them a lousy company. It's up to you to know the rules, responsibilities and expectations for both parties. The Captain on your flight was no doubt reimbursed for the pizzas despite the fact that Dominos doesn't deliver to taxiway intersections on major airports. If you begin your quest for free stuff or schwag from the CSRs by being short or curt with them during situations that are, and learn this phrase when traveling by air, out of the control of the company you're not going to get ANY sympathy. This isn't their first rodeo and there's nothing that you're going to say to them that's going to be new, fresh or original. Read the rules and stand fast when you can prove it.
Where you lost me:
CSR telling you to sleep in the airport for two nights. They don't do that unless you're being a dick. I wouldn't have put it past you to be acting like a brat PITA but even so they're not going to say that.
Complaining about only getting a cup of water. These domestic trips to/from the hub to/from the outstation where there might not be catering services will require this thing called rationing. You being a military hopeful will learn this process. They're typically equipped to handle a beverage service each way and it seems like they were so equipped for your flight. By the letter of their rules they're obligated to provide you with a snack outside of normal eating hours. This is somewhat subjective as to what "normal" is but why didn't you have a snack of your own? You were traveling all the way from Hawaii to Texas without any sort of nourishment? That's dumb. I hope you learned.
All that said remember this:
Time to spare, go by air.

The excuse given to me by the airline was that because it was a weather delay, I was entitled to nothing. Also, these domestic flights usually have snacks for sale. Finally, yes, Dominos DOES deliver to a taxi way. At least at Pueblo Airport. I didn't believe it either until they brought the pizza on board, but they do.
-
Did you read their contract of carriage? You might not have much experience with airline travel but when it comes to weather delays (this falls under things that are out of the control of the company) you're very likely going to wind up SOL unless you meet some very specific circumstances. Weather reports are available to the public and it's just as much you're responsibility to know what you might be facing in terms of delays so you are not taken by surprise.
I read the first post initially that the pizzas were delivered in Denver which I stand by would NOT happen. Pueblo is another story and hardly what I'd describe a major airport so my apologies for the confusion. I've had nothing but success with the folks at both FBOs there but never went there during airline service. Still the weather nor Frontiers handling of a situation beyond their control is reason to hate one particular airline. You'd get the same treatment from all of them because it's spelled out quite clearly what their and your obligations and expectations are.
On that note I never felt bad for people who missed a cruise because they booked the very last flight that would get them to wherever their port of embarkation was only to encounter a delay. You paid for the vacation so take some responsibility for it. Same goes for your experience. What you view as realistic expectations are impractical for several reasons. Airliners just don't carry around excess anything anymore. I've delayed flights for not having enough bottled water to get from Philadelphia to Houston. Extra magazines, food, water, sodas and even filling the potable water systems all the way up contribute weight. This increases fuel burn which increases costs which cuts into profits. You're lucky to get a full can of whatever soft drink you choose these days so it's up to you to bring along the things you might need.
For me it's at least one extra bottle of water which for the average joe must be purchased inside the secure area and a snack of some kind. Packaged apple slices or something else in a similar package which can't be crushed work well. Anything that can be easily transported and difficultly spilled is ideal for this.
Anyway continue. United sucks...burn them at the stake.

Well, I had hoped for at least a meal voucher since they wanted me to stay two days. Unfortunately, as far as knowing the weather, I had book the flight about 2 months prior, so... But honestly, the flights were bad, but I understand weather. What REALLY ticked me off was the baggage. THEY called me that day and told me to be there by a certain time. I was there an hour early. Their schedule had been changed for weeks, but for some reason, no one told me.
