Hello folks, i was wondering if anyone here could give me a hand. I have Delkin 512mb SD card that i can not retreive images from, i get an error stating the card needs to be re formatted. My concern is that i loose the photos on the card. ( approx 650 ). Does anyone know of, or better yet, has anyone used a SD card recovery program that could be recommended. The photos are mostly work related ( not to concerned about these ) But they also include pics of my son and I on a recent trip to the USS Intrepid, that to me are priceless. Im not all that concerned about having to pay for the program. I have found a couple on line, but have never used them, have you? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Are you getting this message on your camera or on your computer?
Are you able to look at the photos through the camera viewer?
If you are using a disk reader, have you tried using a USB cable connecting your camera to your PC?
Just a few questions to clear the obvious before looking deeper. I can't help you with any software as I've never used any of the recovery programs.

My guess is on a vista machine. If so try to get them off on an XP machine. I've seen this on vista several times.

My appologies, the camera wont play them back, and i can not open them using an Addonics Digi drive attached to my work laptop ( runs Microsoft Win 2000 ) It seems to be a format error of some sort. I have plugged the addonics into my home computer Windows XP and the same problem its a no go.
I would also love to share these ( Intrepid ) photos with the community, as i am sure many folks here would like to see them.
I appreciate any help i could get, and thanks for answering Hedworx and Shuffler

That does not sound good I'm afraid. I never tried any kind of SD card recovery program. Sorry... good luck.
