Title: Updating Rides

Hello All
While roaming around I noticed that in the ride preferences section of the side assignments screen there are 5 Axis squads with Allied rides selected.
Another squad has german rides selected. There are also 6 squads with nothing selected between Allied and Axis.
It really makes the CiC's job much easier if this is updated.

actually those made it easier for me, all the others get what they ask for and they got what's left over.

If the preferred ride doesn't exist, then it has not been updated.  If a squad's preference has not been updated, then presume it to mean, "any plane please, as we are here to help".  Experiencing all roles of aerial combat is similar to traveling the world.  Self education through new perspectives and experiences, can be used to improve yourself in all areas of combat.

Exactly how I took it the one time I was CiC back in January.  Unfortunately some believe they are to get "preferred" rides by osmosis.  :lol

We didn't get our preferred side and left the rides alone when that happened.  We will take what we get during this FSO.  Did the same thing during one of those Italian FSOs when we didn't get our side preference.  Worked out pretty good then. :)

I went through gave the squads that updated their info what they wanted then looked what the other guys had flown the last 2 frames and what we needed and tried to give them a new plane for that last frame.

we picked allied and ride preferences, we got axis, and didnt have a preference. worked out fine.

Thats how fso works.. dont always get what ya want..

I had my squad signed up as allies... And I end up as axis cic for first frame  :D

which is why i love FSO, its always a challenge.  :aok :aok
