Arcade racing, still pretty fun ... but hot dam they got some great graphics going on. I wonder what makes it so lifelike, is it all about the lighting? Anyway this 2010 tangtang is spot on.

Is that an in-game screenshot or a 3D-rendering? 3D-renderings always look better than the in-game screenshots since lighting can be adjusted before the screen shot is captured.

In game, here's a vid, game footage start half way in.

Kinda weird seeing a paintjob that used to be on a Skyline, on a Mustang like that.
-
I really wish that they hadn't gone with that style again, "Prostreet" wasn't as good as other NFS games. Honestly 'Gran Turismo' is better for "real" type racing, NFS is more fit for "illegal" racing. :D They go and take out the best part when they base the game on enclosed tracks like this, Police chases!
I'll still likely buy it haven't skipped one, including Prostreet, since about '98. It does look dang nice though, I still play my old NFS (High Stakes, Hot Pursuit, Porsche Unleashed), fun to watch how far graphics have come.

Not really, Falken paintjob is/was on many cars ... 69 Camaro, 05 Mustang, Silvia, Trueno, G35, R34, 350Z, Porsche 997 ...
RipChord929 ... ... what are you talking about?
-
I guess. First time I ever saw it was on a Skyline a long time ago. Never saw it on anything else since.

I shall indulge you :devil

Yeah those graphics are pretty impressive. Not sure they hold a candle to Half-Life 3 :P

Might I recommend Codemasters "Race Driver: GRID". Pretty sweet game, and the graphics are gorgeous. Codemasters' racing games tend to look awesome and play even better. I'm in the process of tinkering around with Fuel now.
