Marion County Man Faces Animal Cruelty and Burglary Charges
Christopher Bagwell was arrested over the weekend.
FARMINGTON -- The Farmington Police have arrested a man who they say broke into a home and abused a dog inside.
Christopher Bagwell, 26 of Mannington, is charged with nighttime burglary, a felony and animal cruelty, a misdemeanor.
On July 8, police were called to a home on Wiley Street, after a friend of the homeowner noticed the front door was open while the homeowner was at work. According to the criminal complaint, when the friend looked inside the house, she saw Bagwell engaged in sexual intercourse with the homeowner's dog. Bagwell had gone through the home and its gun cabinet, as well, the complaint says.
Bagwell was arrested over the weekend and is now free on bond.

And this comment on the article just makes it better:
"What??!! How humiliating for West Virginia, yet another mark against us, to have a young man as disturbed as this one living in our community. Or was he just lonley, unloved and misunderstood? As for the dog, I am sure he/she must be traumitized and it's owners are seeking counseling and an abortion if she is pregnant."
