Hello, I am new to the game and I purchased a Saitek Aviator Flight Stick for X-Box 360 and PC (cheap and only one available locally) but I cannot get rudder control either with keyboard or with my stick. I have set axis and tried to calibrate in both windows and AHII which is successful except the rotation and the throttle slide both show movement in the Z axis. My planes just go in circles when trying to Takeoff. Can anyone help me?

I think using software to calibrate in windows makes it harder. I disabled my software and calibrated through Aces High. It was very easy after I did that. You need to pull up the configuration window and pull up the joystick and then calibrate it. Maybe that will help you. Good Luck

Hilite the axis you want, simply moving the throttle should do it, then right click and select throttle 1 from the analog controls. Then rotate the twist to do the same for rudder. This can also be done for all other buttons on the joystick,a simple way to set it up. Goto options, controls, map controls on the clipboard map.
Hope that helps!
