Please tell us that you didn't let Vista install it where it wanted to. I did that once, once. Try running the install "run as administrator" You will have to do that for all the updates too.

Did you install the native sound and video card drivers? Check DXDIAG.

Yes I did. Yes Dragon I did do that. I have got the game to login but after that it crashs.
-
Need to see a DXDIAG output.

Can't Skuzzy its over 10000 characters. Want me to email it to you?
-
I prefer it emailed.

Sent. I can now open the game. I also can Log into the game and fly. But now the game erases some of my stick settings when I login or change arenas. I have really no idea how I got it to not crash and login. I read all your tips and what not. It just started working. I am gonna go mess around with it more and see what comes up in the dxdiag report.

Yea I am logged in now and some of my settings have been wiped out in the game. They are blank :cry

Did you install the game in the default location? That will cause you no end of troubles. Files get moved to a virtual store when you install the game in the default "Program Files" folder. It is a new whiz-bang feature of Vista that everyone despises,....except Microsoft and some neophyte IT guy at some Fortune 100 company.

I got a free upgrade to Windohs 7 Woot lol. Its not out yet but im sure its going to really suck like vista does.
I did do that but I removed it and installed to C:\Games\Aces High and it worked. I did not set the icon to windows xp compatable mode should I have Skuzzy?

No, you shouldn't have to run in XP mode. Make sure the setting folder is in the Games/Aces High location and it should read properly for the stick settings. Calibrate the stick in Vista first, then calibrate in AH
