:O Nice!
-
I WANT ONE!!!!
-
Id probably shoot myself folding it up.
-
Walking my dog and shootin bad guys. Now only if it had a retractable leash with it.
-
I want one,.... NOW :noid

I wonder how concealed carry laws would apply to something like that.
To be honest tho, it looks to me more flashy than practical. You could probably just as, if not more quickly, draw from a holster than pop that thing open, and with a lot less risk of malfunction when it fails to open.
-
It's awesome but I agree that the chance for a malfunction is worrying, that and it's using a glock. Now if it was perfected and was able to use several different manufacturers might be very cool. As to the CC laws technically it is still a pistol until you install a sere(don't know on the spelling) then it becomes a SMG. Reminds me of the radio SMG that the kid had in Robocop 2. Don't jump on me for that though.

You're allowed to have Glocks in CA? I thought it was down to the good citizens only being able to carry squirt guns, if and when they had passed the background check, and promised to only fill them with Arrowhead Natural Spring Water. :)
-
repost... but still cool.
Though, did anyone else notice that every time he folded the thing back up he was pointing the muzzle right at his own chest? Seems like a bad idea.
-
Is there an attachment for a razor? Maybe that guy can shave that goofy beard off his face. :P

I saw that too. WAY too much potential for trouble with this thing.
-
Very interesting. I like how he puts the barrel to his chest while folding..... several times.

LOL! Personally, I cannot count how many times I went on a walk with the dog and said "man I wish I had my machine gun with me right now". What's that Lassie...Timmy is surrounded by the Taliban, OK lemme grab my flashlight!
-
cool :aok
-
Just dont ever yell "Get that light outta my eyes!!"
:D
-
It's cool, but I think it's going to injure more users than protect (folding it up looks like an accident waiting to happen in unsteady hands).

Yeah they suck and can be a PITA, but the background checks and regulations are honestly not that bad here and at most are a minor inconvenience for me to conform to (high capacity magazines? never heard of them :noid ). The subject of regulation (in this state or any) is always one I have a hard time choosing which side of the fence I'm on. I strongly agree with a good citizen's right to bear arms, but I also support well-written regulation (however it is unfortunate that it's the only "solution" politicians can come up with).
When I was a teen I would go on ride-alongs with a good family friend in the LACFD. He worked at two stations during the times I did ride-alongs, one next to Van Nuys Airport (it was the coolest IMO, it doubled as the Airport Fire and Rescue and was nextdoor to the LA City and County Fire and Rescue rotary maintenance hangar) and the other was in South Central (the firehouse that was ransacked and burned to the ground during the Rodney King riots).
Van Nuys was just fun; ride-alongs, BBQs, and in the frequent downtime checking out the airport rigs or helicopters next door. The rebuilt South Central station was bigger, brand-spanking new, and (to deal with the modern "local culture") resembled Fort Knox (and is the only place/lot in south LA that I wouldn't hesitate to park my car)). It took a real special breed of fire-men/women to come into work with the best they could at that station, shift after shift, to try and help a community that mostly hated/distrusted them and/or wanted to kill them. Nobody left the station without a bulletproof vest, and for the first few years after the riots more bullet holes had to be repaired on the trucks than any other maintenance work on them combined. They would BBQ outside in the parking lot (surrounded by 2'-thick, 12'-high brick walls topped with double razor wire), but there were so many calls that there was rarely 10-minutes of downtime. The most peaceful ride-along that I went on there involved a sheered-off hydrant by a heavily intoxicated (crack head) driver. It was uneventful except for a 8.5 pound chunk of lead solder being dislodged in the hydrant's pipes and shooting straight up in the air and coming straight down on top of a guy I was standing close to on his helmet (knocked him to the ground and cracked his fire helmet in half, but thankfully he only had a headache afterwards)).

Yes Babalonian is very spot on . You can own a wide assortment of arms here in California , and as most of my arms are at least 15 yrs or so old registration was not a problem . The regs are not bad at all and the paper work is not to heavy . And my Brother in Law is a watch commander in a nearby city and he helps out if changes occur and need attention . As my Bro in Law was at one time a Commander of the North Orange County SWAT , I had a bit of fun on training they would do and got to shoot some very special weapons and ammo . The right to bear arms is a great thing , so is the responsibility to go with it .

Im sure the firing mechanism is disabled when he does that first fold. I still dont like the pointing it in my gut thing.

I can seriously see someone getting flash burns on their hands with that forward grip.
Does California still prohibit 15rnd mags in vintage WW2 M1 Carbines?
-
OMG I think I just messed my pants. Doesn't seem too bad for a prototype. Needs some work though.
I can already see those fruitcakes in the California legislature rolling over in their prius's about this one.

You're not allowed to have anything over 10 rounds for any type of firearm. The place I bought mags for my AR had 30rounders, but they pin them to hold only ten rounds. Bummer, but it still looks nice.
