Watched the movie last night. Pretty riveting but, my worst fears came true at the end. I thought the ending was poor. Didn't really wrap things up or maybe it was as if they backed themselves in a corner and said how do we get out of this. In fact at one point it looked as if the director said hey, we can't decide about this object, oh, I know what to do, let's make it redundant and almost worthless.
Show is based on two opposite theories, one of order, which can be predicted, and one of chaos, which may not be predictable.
Anyway, just my opinion. I won't give a way any more than that. My advice, rent not own.

I liked this movie, I liked how they "start over" at the end. But I don't think its a movie to watch more than three times.

I'm always a fan of Nicholas Cage. Have several of his movies, National Treasure (I and II) and Lord of War. For some stupid reason I can watch Lord of War over and over. Real odd stuff and yet based on a true arms dealer. National Treasure is awesome and Book of secrets is okay, seemed rushed.
Like I said it was riveting for about 95% of it. Maybe my expectations and ending didn't coincide.

When I left the theater I felt indoctrinated. As in "I should have gone to church, at least I wouldn't have wasted 8 Euros".

:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl
It felt like an old western, How are they going to catch the bad guys, get the money back, and save the girl with only 30 seconds of movie left? Blam, blam, boom, blam, crack, Karreeeen, Bang. Movie over.

Horrible movie....not to mention you only see three events happen while the trailers made it seem like it was going to be absolute carnage....the indoctrination at the end and not so subtle references had me slapping my forehead at the absurdity of the whole thing. The first half was cool and creepy....the rest was pure laziness....I still stand that Nicholas Cage has only been in 3 good movies(Con Air, Face/Off, The Rock) since the 80s and the rest are a means to cash a check....I wish lazs would chime in his take on ol Mope Eyes is hilarious.
