Title: Tank Town

Tank Town as most of us know is where GVr's, furballers, bomb****s etc. fight for the sheer joy of a war style bar brawl.  Missions are rare and those running around taking v bases are more in squads than a horde.  I feel every map should have an area where TT exists and the airbases attached to them cannot be taken. Some of us don't always have time to jump into a mission, don't feel like it, or feel like driving 20 minutes to a base from a spawn point. TT is easy, efficient, and fun. Theirs always those who for reasons unknown take a teams airbase in TT, and often the whole island. When this happens usually the map becomes officially lame. Put a red/blue/yellow/aqua marine colored box around each airbase in TT as to make it where the  base can't be taken, all v bases are fair game. The base can be porked, camped, leveled, pummeled, raided, ransacked, reduced to ruin,  and you can start all over again, you just can't capture it. For those who would object to this idea  if it were implemented, don't go to TT, you have 60 other bases you can roll, leave the 3 bases in TT alone.  I'm not real sure how often suggestions become reality in this game but I hope this one is considered. might be unrelated but i would like the old tank town back, maybe in the DA and maybe without any bombers to harrass it!! just sayin!!!

I have of the opinion that the taking tank town by one country to the exclusion of others is LAME.

Hell id settle for a small island off in the corner with 3 uncapturable vbases well away from airbases to limit the bomb****ing. Then you would just have an all out gv battle royale. Sounds like fun to me

I would agree with this if Fighter Towns were included as well. Nothing ruins a good fight over Tank Town more than getting shot down and being relocated to the login base, or surviving, but being unable to egress to another base due to the lack of fuel in your Yak-9.  :salute

Why not just go to the DA?  They have it there already.

Make the v bases uncapturable and air bases capturable then. (Assuming where talking about the original TT map setup Ndiesel)

The individual buildings (if this is Trinity) USED to be destroyable...but SOO many such things in such a small area was a frame killer of incredible proportions

I miss the old TT sooo much... If I ever got frustrated I would just go to TT and relax. I don't know why HTC changed it to that three spawn "thing". It isn't the same...

P.S. Ranger that city reminds me of that one map in 8 player... Now im double sad  :cry

Many of us do. IMO the Beta version of TT seems to resemble the old TT, ecleast more so then the current version does. (Im curious if anyone agrees with that or not. Im talking about the old TT that was out right before the m4 and hedgerows were introduced. With the "no man's land spawn" wide open kill zone between town and trees/cover behind you.)

 Agree 100%. Won't say that the tanking totally sucks but it could be a lot better. A better damage model, a few more tanks,  a tank town would be a great addition. 
 GVs are such easy prey to aircraft that it is often hard to get a good GV battle going. Nothing like getting a bunch of kills so some bomb**** or a IL2 decides to get a easy score. Unlike air to air combat there is vertually no defence in a tank. Can't hide. Can't run fast enough, no protective camouflage. In short the game balance is off when it comes to GV/Aircraft. Time to give the GVs their own space.

I think that is why the Wirblewind is so overmodeled. Plus, let me know when you want to start a GV battle, I'll up and try to act as fighter cover.

We've asked for some of the bases in TT to be uncaptureable many, many times.  I'm in agreement with the OP, but I don't think it's going to happen.

I dont really care if it captureable or not but would love to see  TT on every map


No one ever goes to the TT on the last map that was up.  the one with the 15k mountains around it.
