after having my 1st OP topic locked by Skuzzy, I have made two pies.  The 1st is a chicken-pot-pie, the 2nd a chorizo, bacon, leek & mashed potato affair.  I still have enough dough two make two more; however Anthony Bourdain's voice is in my head (no more On Demand at 2am for me I think) spouting phrases like " porky goodnes" and "succulant chicken deliciousity" which is distracting me from creativity as I'm out of pork & chicken.

So I turn to you dear AH members and ask what I should make with the other two crusts & tops.

I would go with a sheperds pie and dedicate it to Larry ! and then maybe a true mincmeat pie !

Try 1 steak, broccoli and Brie topped with roasted tomato slices and the second one could be a pizza inspired creation with pepperoni, mots cheese, green pepper and onion with a touch of red pepper flakes and parm chees topping.

Substitute spinach for the broc on 1 if you like and sausage for the second.

Well the 3rd pie is a meatball (TY Denholm), long-grain/wild rice, roasted red pepper with a bechemel sauce binder concoction.  Almost made it a salmon chowder type but decided to save the fish for grilling tomorrow night.  The last will be a dark&milk chocolate pudding with cherries & lime pie.  Who does not love pudding?

Just had my first steak home cooked steak in about 3 years. It was great! While I am laid off I figured it was less than Wendy's and much healthier. It was only a Rib-Eye but hey, still good. I'm getting another tomorrow. ;)
