Title: Getting Mic to work on a Mac

Hey guys.

So I went and bought a Mic/Headphones combo thing today and while the headphone part works great I am still not able to talk to anyone. They say they can see my name pop up but they cant here anything. Is their any tricks that i am supposed to do in order to get it working?

P.S. I had to switch the mic button to "\" key b/c F12 on macs control the speaker volume.

What are the volume sliders for the microphone set at inside the Macintosh volume control panel and the game's volume control panel?
