I've been able to repeat this issue many times now: I'll fly a ground attack mission and walk a set of rockets in on a tank/gv. The System will tell me I've killed someone.
I'll eagerly go to my roster core to see if my Attack score has updated. Inevitably, it says I have no attac k scores.
I've killed multple GVs yet have never received an attack score. Has anyone else had this problem? I don't really care that much about my score or rank - I'm not that great at this and it's just a diversion for me anyway. Still, points are points and I want mine.

You have to fly in "attack" mode to get an attack score.
Also note that you will still get your perk points, regardless if you did fly in correct mode or not.
-
If you kill GV's while in Fighter Mode, it will not score as a Kill. You will get a arena message saying you got the kills, perk points for the kills, but no annotation of it on the score page or actual "Kill Points" added to your fighter score.
If you are flying any fighter with any rockets or bombs on it, set it to "Attack" mode, otherwise, your actually hurting your score and bringing down your hit %.

The fighter/attack choice has to be one of the silliest aspects of the scoring system, especially when one of the worst things for an attack score is target ground vehicles instead of stationary objects.

Dunno... I'm usually killing a lot of GV's, and my score is doing fine ;)
But of course I'm not spraying T34s with thousands of bullets from a P-51...

Those score monkies drive me nuts that do that.

Okay. I'm glad it was something simple. I'll finger out how to change mode next time I'm in the game.

Change in the hangar while selecting plane. look to right under the plane selection and press ATTACK. Don't forget to change it back after your sortie.

Is there a way to check which mode you are in while in flight? There have been many times when I was in the mode other than the one I thought. D'oh.
