Highly unlikely.  I would think that he would have more integrity than to fly as a shade.

In addition, he has been busy with his new trainer responsibilities.

Besides the Jug she is flying is short an engine    :D

Nah, this Lucy, she is not new, the picking skill is too precise for a n00b.

As a guy who flies Luftwaffe exclusively, I can appreciate a good drag and bag or a good pick when defending a base, clearing a squaddie, etc.

However, I did not see once where she actually engaged in a fight.  Every single kill was made on a plane that was already engaged.

Many kills?  Yes.

Skill?  Possibly.  (a good pick where you never saw the guy coming needs setup time, proper timing, and a good egress route) but all something I could teach my 10 year old.

Creativity?  Fail

The best way to thwart a chronic picker is to check each others six or to have a wingman to clear you as you engage.

Vonmessa figures getting 150mph 10 feet away from a bees nest is a good idea.  Sorry, been around too long to know what happens.  You lay the smack down on someone like yourself, and they hop in la7 and zoom out to shoot you, and only you, along with the other 15 guys you just laid tracks on.  Bud, you couln't walk 2 turns in my shoes, or this Lucifer guy. ;)

I don't care who most of the shadesboi's are actually.   Most of them are people who dug their own grave and will continue to do so.   Lucifer and others who are STILL friends, are cool with me.

No one wins every fight, every time.   Most players haven't picked up on that fact yet.

He has been at some of the furballs I have been to and he gets kills. Same way as the rest of the top pilots do. Up high over a furball, down low, quick burst in the right place back up then repeat.  Its summer time lot of new easy kills on.

I know of some people who fly shades quite a bit to just get some time to themselfs and play AH in peace. Really nothing wrong with it. There are also guys who fly shades just for laughs. Nothing wrong with it really.

But, there are alot of guys as Karaya said, who "dug themselfs into a hole" and now need to hide behind shade accounts. It's kinda too bad, I would think some of those guys get pretty lonely. Must be quite the chore to keep their mouth quiet as to not let their true identity be known.

You assume too much. I didn't say get low and slow near a horde, I said engage someone 1 vs 1 instead of waiting until you find the closest engaged person to kill while they happen to be occupied.

I don't fly LA-7's   :)

Sometimes intentionally putting yourself at a disadvantage can be a learning experience, but hey, to each his own.

The only time "tracks" were laid on me is when I decided to mix it up with someone.  It was then and only then that said persona had anything on me.

I wouldn't know how many turns I would last because the persona in question never turned  :aok

I do know that I should apologize for engaging in a battle of wits with an unarmed person.  It's hardly fair.

Excuse me now, I have a fishing line that I must bait again.

I'm gonna have to back Lazer on this one.....some of us know who you are, and your antics and tactics....they are so unimpressive that to even insinuate bragging is absolutely hilarious......I'm guessing that you saved E very conservative off the merge....flew very, very well, as to conserve all that E.....and played timid like a sleeping little baby ......  until Lazer got bored and dropped out and dared you to attack his 6.....I am then guessing that you weren't good enuff to kill him from high 6.....at least in one pass...maybe even two..... :rofl  WEEEEEAAAAAKKKKKKKKK  WEEEEEEEaNNNNIIIIEEEEEEE!   :aok

What is hilarious is that when we have met I've also totally owned you, with no exceptions  :rofl

And for the record, the antics were all his. He lied about how long he had been playing the game before we even took off, and he acted like a spoiled child when he lost.  :lol

until Lazer got bored and dropped out and dared you to attack his 6.....

He didn't get bored because the fights didn't last that long, he just isn't that good, I out turned him, plain and simple. Every kill was from dead 6, same as when I pwn you. :rock

Just follow a d9 around in the MA, that will give you a pretty good idea of the duel.

The only part of that description that is accurate is that I did spend most of the time during those four fights on your tail, I was at your 6 so long I could have painted a picture of it :rofl

Quote
Even after you sat up on your vert perch, you still needed 4-5 passes to hit me.

There was only one pass in each of those 4 duels, that was at the merge, after that we were never more than a turn circle apart. No perches, no passes, just pwnage in ample quantities. Want to deny it?.... Just post the film.

You simply flew each fight almost exactly like SkyRock and a number of others do. That is with total disregard for good BFM. You both fight as though you are convinced that aircombat comprises only one maneuver and the guy you are fighting doesn't know it :rofl

That's why, when you get totally pwned, you both think it must be the other guy who did everything all wrong :rofl

I remember you being on one time with quite a few muppets in the DA, we were all having a good time fighting, slowly, as you got your arse handed to you time and time again, you logged....and poof...amazingly a shade came in, and started flying very timidly....slow(albeit well executed) spiraling climbs right after merge milking every ounce of E you had saved going above the alt cap before vis, then diving into the merge with an E advantage to start the fight with......  Go blow your smoke up someone elses patooty....  attacking lazer here for lying about how long he played, yet you are the embodiment of a liar....and in the same exact MO....  it's a waste of time typing to you, or about you.....you are nothing.   :aok

Here is a film where I pwn you 4-0 same as Lucifer/Lazerr. The simple fact is that I've pwned you on each of our previous encounters. The typical scenario is this.

Here is an example of just such an encounter. In this duel you chose the P-38 then after losing in it twice you wanted to change planes, so I chose the P-51D. Then after that fight you chose the F6F.

Here is a film where I pwn you 4-0 same as Lucifer/Lazerr. The simple fact is that I've pwned you on each of our previous encounters. The typical scenario is this.

  • We meet in the MA when you are flying an inferior aircraft at a disadvantage.
  • You try to set me up for an overshoot expecting to surprise another noob
  • I shoot you down
  • Obviously disappointed and convinced that I was just a lucky noob, you inform me that it was a fluke and that you would pwn me 1v1
  • I laugh at you and bring your experience and skill into question
  • You invite me to the DA where you inform the arena that I will soon be pwned
  • We go to the DA, fly your choice of aircraft and you lose every round
  • Despite being pwned you try to explain to me what I did wrong
  • I return to the MA and and inform interested parties that you were pwned
  • You claim it didn't count because it was boring
  • I laugh at you again, until next time

Here is an example of just such an encounter. In this duel you chose the P-38 then after losing in it twice you wanted to change planes, so I chose the P-51D. Then after that fight you chose the F6F.

I've always kind of admired the way badboy flies.  I find it boring personally, but he is very very good at it.  I usually get bored and try to reverse it back to a nose to nose fight, but I'm sure I could figure out a better way to win against the luftberry he does if I watched enough film.

I've never understood why he hides behind shades though, especially when he is honestly the only person I've ever fought against who flies that way.  I'll sometimes see a fight or two break down into a luftberry, but the vast majority of people will go nose to nose once I start it up - he just keeps turning in the same direction until he wears you down.

Your lameness in the DA was bad enough, but to come here in chest thump about it, well.. takes the cake

I thought Laz was inactive. But here he responds to gunzos post about Luci, like it was him in the DA with Gunzo.

Gunzo only says that it was lucifer.

So right now my money is on Laz being Luci.

Im still waiting to hear from spiral climb susie herself.. *crickets*

Ok, let me think about that:

We duelled 4 times and you lost them all. During each and every one of those fights you were defensive within the first 40 seconds. You never did anything during those four fights that forced me to respond in any way. You never had any sort of opportunity. During those four fights, you did nothing of any merit or interest, they were just four easy kills. You didn't just lose, you were beaten convincingly and repeatedly. Quite simply, you were pwned.

Normally, we would have flown many more duels, in any variety of aircraft you desired, and kept going until you had your fill. Unfortunately, after those four fights you ridiculed the way I flew and behaved like a spoiled child when you lost. So it ended right there and I continued to duel with Vudak. (Nice fights BTW Vudak)

Now you want to duel me again? Sorry, but that isn't a very attractive offer, the fights will still be easy and I'll just end up feeling like a bully.

If you really want to duel me again you must earn the right. You need to prove to me that you have improved and are worthy of a re-match. If you win the tourney, I will duel you again. Then and only then will it be worth spending any more time with such a poor loser. Let me know when you win we can fix up a time.

Cmon gunzopunk, you want to talk trash behind the curtain.....lets go make a film of "how to b-slap a luftberry shade boy"   I will enjoy it very much!

It already happened, I posted the film, you lost 4 in a row. When I watch you die in that F6F it still makes me smile.

Whenever we meet the result has always been the same, what do you think has changed?

Did you find some tonic to make your skill buds grow?

weak ass,.... just man up coward boy.  Only cowards claim to be champions, yet refuse a re-match or challenge.  True champions love the fight....more-so than placing moral, how to lose standards as some sort of pre-requisite for fighting, or claim that you are soo much above the opponent that it isnt worth your time.....we've seen those excuses before....weak....  You sound like you got your "shadeboy film" of you beting him, and want to let that rest(yet, show no true champion spirit in this thread, and wont even be honest with those reading, about who you really are)....very cowardly....true champions...and people who know how to "lose" and "win" would take his challenge and fight again....I suspect you're a coward weak bellybutton that will dance like MJ around a re-match......good going ..........boy!    :aok

You lie so much... ....hell, we don't even know if snozzle is you....he flew better than your other shades, albeit.... I only see dancing, like a coward...I see no gunzo in the DA backing up his smack....all I see is you post a fight with me and snozzle...tells me nothing.... if you think you can replicate the results, then take the challenge, otherwise you look like a lying fool...

Plane order will be this:
first ride- hog-1
second ride- spitV
third ride- 109f4

take this challenge, I will bet my account for 6 months on 3 out of 5 with you......I win, you stand up and be truthful, you win, Skyrock doesn't fly for 6 months.

I will garuntee I win.... :aok

I remember fighting either this badboy guy or his son. In a turnfight, he really wasn't that good. He flew too skittish for his own good. He was and still is the best flat turner I have ever seen, however. Now; spinning luftberries until your opponent falls asleep isn't my idea of fun, but he is good at it.

With a little help in the TA I think he would be able to compete in a TnB fight.

edit: I don't consider spinning luftberries a 'turn fight'.

Hehe, nice edit... but the fact remains he is VERY good at a "TnB" fight.  Basically he sits at corner speed (or very close to it), and keeps it there.

I can't do it.

I guess I could learn to do it, but I tend to pull to hard and bleed off all my speed.  I prefer fighting nose to nose anyway, the fights tend to be shorter and in the MA environment that is important.  If you are sitting there spinning circles in the sky you are going to get picked.

Gunzo, TopGunzo, ( Chest Thumper Extraordinaire )............

nice little signature you got going there, but you are totally clueless and going in the wrong direction!

Gunzo's current bbs signature:
your axe to grind is not with the DFC, it is with people you for some reason have picked out to "put down"............unless you just trying to instigate something that is not there...........

You might want to rethink your approach with your bbs signature............ you are attacking alot of people that have nothing to do with your little episodes with a handful of others, it appears..........

DFC are OBviously not all uber sticks........(as long as I'm there :D)

LOL Speaking of ankle humpers.   I was wondering how long it would take you to show up Fin. Good to know you still love me.

Nah, no shade anymore. Gave it up.  The primary difference was that was my late son's account and it was when I just felt like flying and not talking.  I didn't use it to talk stuff which is why I'm asking Gunzo.

He's clearly wants to be seen.

Guys

The person who flew as Gunzo, Snozzle, and currently TinTin is not me.

Interesting thread though... Here is the way it looks from my perspective...

You could hear his engine pound as he flew across the ground
And the whistle of his prop blades as they spun round and round
He flew right through the DA, his dweeb badge on his chest
His name was Gunzo... and he flew the fastest Mustang in the west.

Now Gunzo loved a woman, a lady pilot known as "Spiral Sue"
She only flew in the DA and drove a Mustang too
They said she was too good for him, she was young, skilled and sleek
But Gunzo managed to score there three times every week
They called him Gunzo... and he flew the fastest Mustang in the west

Sue said she'd like to wing with him, so Gunzo just said, "Dang"
And when he finished school one night he loaded up his 'stang
He asked if she wanted to energy fight, 'cos energy fighting is best
She said, "Gunzo I like it low and slow, don't worry about the rest."
That tickled young Gunzo... and he flew the fastest Mustang in the west

Now Gunzo had a rival, a handsome-looking man, who liked to fly and fight
His name was SkyRock from the Muppet Squad, and Sue was in his sight
He tempted her with his barrel rolls and the way his enemies fled
And when Sue saw the size of his stick it very nearly turned her head

She nearly swooned at his low speed turn and fainted at the sight
Of his barrel roll and a high yo-yo every night
Gunzo knew that once Sue saw SkyRock’s fancy turn, he would have his wicked way
And all Gunzo had to offer was a quick kill every day
Poor Gunzo... and he flew the fastest Mustang in the west.

One night Gunzo saw SkyRock and Sue flying finger four
It drove him mad, but they did look good, which irked him even more
As he got to the Officer’s Club his hot blood flowed so quick
He dashed across to SkyRock’s Hog and gave it a mighty kick
Bad Gunzo... and he flew the fastest Mustang in the west.

Now Gunzo rushed to the DA, his throttle in his hand
He said, "If you want to marry Sue you’ll fight for her like a man!"
"Oh why don't we race F6F’s for her?" SkyRock sneeringly replied
"And just to make it interesting we'll have a small bet on the side."

SkyRock added, “I think I’ll raise the stakes now that we’ve come this far”
“If I can beat you in my Hog you must tell us who you are”
“You’re not allowed to climb at all, your style is such a bore”
“And if by chance I should lose, I won’t fly at all next tour”

Gunzo dragged SkyRock from his plane, beneath the blazing sun
They stood there face to face, and SkyRock went for his gun
But Gunzo was too quick, things didn't go the way SkyRock planned
'Cause Gunzo threw his throttle and sent the gun spinning from SkyRock's hand.

Now Sue she ran between them, and tried to keep them apart
but as Gunzo pushed her to one side, SkyRock kicked him in the heart
As Gunzo looked up in pained surprise, with anger and disgust
SkyRock’s toy Hog hit him in the eye and Gunzo bit the dust.
Poor Gunzo... and he flew the fastest Mustang in the west.

Gunzo was only twenty-two, he didn't want to die
And now he's culling baby seals in that Main Arena in the sky
Where the enemy are angels and the squeakers are all banned
And a pilot’s life is full of fun in that happy dweeb free land

But a woman's needs are many-fold, so Sue married SkyRock instead.
but odd things happened on their wedding night as they lay in their bed.
Was that the trees a-rustling, or the sound of the wind at his tail?
Or Gunzo’s ghostly stall horn rumbling up from hell.

They won't forget Gunzo... he flew the fastest Mustang in the west!

I'm sorry, but I think it's funny how you guys brag how you can easily beat him yet lose everytime when the rubber meets the road. After the first 1-2 fights you know he's not a noob and is an E fighter. No excuses on why he killed you the 3-4 time.
well, I guess to some of us...once we realized we weren't fighting...( a newb)....  much of the focus was trying to figure out who he was, of course he knew this, it is his MO.... the winning of the fight became second place, at least in my experiences with him.......so....instead of talking a load of hot air to look good in a thread....maybe take our experience with him and learn....stalker shade bois are to be given no credibility...

Oh, and just so you know....TJ.....I've slapped the crap out of this guy in numerous fights under numerous names......tis why he goes shades.....and why he targets aggressive fighters..... as you see, he's suckered me in a few times.....and other times, I shot him in the bellybutton as he spiral hovered timidly above me. :aok

Let me give you a background on his tactics......

create a shade....fight SR....lose.....log and create another shade
Stalk SR....fight SR......lose.....log and create another shade
Stalk SR.....fight SR......win.....save film....hold it tightly under your pillow for long time....until right moment arises....post and brag.....

are you getting the picture?  it's a troll....and I'm not the only one he does this too.... :aok

otoh....the guy is one of the smoothest flyers, I've come across...Probably one of the top 3 or 4 luftberry artists....yet, down in the dirt he is beaten fairly easily....tis why he loves the luftberry....it's his forte'........and he once was a well respected member of the community....why he goes complete psycho like this every 9-12 months....is beyond me :aok

This is getting interesting...

I don't know why, but TopGunzo reminds me of someone who was really cocky, all the time. And they always whined and cried like a 2 year old on 200. But the person I'm thinking of, I haven't seen in a year or more.

Seamed like you socialized alot when you were with us flying in the 4th as Pitzer ...no?
Fencer recognized my voice on Vox one day.  Since we both like history and 4th FG history it seemed like fun and it was a nice escape during a difficult time.  If being cordial to folks is socializing, then yes I did

I don't recall picking fights with folks on 200 or going out of my way to antagonize people with it.

But no shades now.  Don't need it anymore.

And Fin, I have no clue why you are so worried about me, but it's interesting that you seem so concerned.

Thanks for fixing that Gunzo. That logo was created by Greyeagle specifically for the Topgunz. It was, to date, the most successful troll on the Internet. Most folks would have been surprised to find out who was in that squad. It was created at the 1998 AirWarrior convention in SF. We started the squad to get folks back into the game that we enjoyed playing with, including most of the staff at Kesmai. We revealed ourselves at the 1999 AirWarrior convention banquet. The groans and gasps from the audience made the whole thing worthwhile.

This is all so confusing that I think a couple of clarifying questions are in order.

1. What is the specific accusation w/r the topic? Who is accused of being "Lucifer"?
2. SkyRock, what evidence do you have that you are being ass-punked repeatedly by someone who assumes different names/shades?
3. What name was Gunzo flying under when he last rolled you over and made you his bee-otch?
4. Gunzo, why do you feel a need to conceal your porking? If I were wailing away on SkyRock, I'd probably be quite upfront with my id.

But then, I'm a mere noob, albeit a credentialed one, of sorts.

It is a game, after all - or at least that's what I was told when I asked if I needed to choke my radiator flap.

Skyrock's post sounds a bit paranoid and sour grapes, Gunzo's undercuts its own false bravado. I'd say you should have it out - i.e., I guess I support SR's request even as he sounds a bit enlarged in der pupenschute from his last encounter with the preening Gunzo.

Ahh hell, I'll name names. I started flying AW back in 93 when SVGA AirWarrior came out. When I got on-line and saw the people flying that were in the manual I was pumped to be flying with the "legends". A lot of folks that I flew with went to work for Kesmai and like the guys at HTC can tell you, when you make your hobby a job it just ain't that much fun anymore.

A bunch of us were sitting around the banquet table in SF in 98 when I brought up the idea of a shades squad to get some of the Kesmoids back into the game like Bluebaron, Quarters, Kato, Moggy, Greyeagle, and others. All BBS activities were handled in newsgroups and you had to be able to configure a news reader to get alt.games.airwarrior and see what was going on. We decided to push all the buttons including asking about "cheats" in the news groups. Rocketman even made us a web site with the cheesiest Top Gun theme music (that you couldn't turn off) and bios for all the squad.

BTW, HiTech was a part of that squad  :devil

We did stupid crap like climb to 20K and formation crash into the CV's. Come up in Fightertown and let folks shoot us down. Folks from our own country would rat us out when we started coming up, it was some funny stuff. Any way we took a year to firmly set the hook and at the convention in Dallas (which I put on) we took off our outer shirts and revealed out Top Gunz shirts. Imagine the shock of some people that were sitting there and had been writing to Kesmai and demanding that we be banned for dweebery that found out the very folks they were writing to were in the squad.

Vudak...

In addition to what SB posted, Top Gunz included the AW producer and head of customer service, also the head of Game Storm (Kesmai's foray into an online gaming service). It even included an AW competitor....the creator of this game....HiTech.

We would get together every couple of weeks and play in the full real arena. Everyone had handles from the Top Gun movie and created annoying macros from the movie. The point was to fly as poorly as possible, while being as annoying as possible. Rocketman created a web site for us ( complete with a very annoying computer version of "Highway to the Danger Zone" [that you couldn't turn off]). Grey Eagle (GE here), an artist with Kesmai created a logo for us (the one that Gunzo ripped).....and we became the talk of AW. It was hilarious. There were posts on the boards and complaints to AW management about the dweebish Top Gunz. Funny thing though, the people they were complaining to were the people they were complaining about!! :D

This went on for about 8 months. The Gunz announced that they would be at the 1999 AW con in Dallas (coincidentally, SB organized the con :)). We had tee shirts made up with the squad logo and everyone wore the Tee's to the Saturday night banquet under their regular shirts. The "jaw hitting the floor" moment at the "unveiling" was beyond classic.

Now THAT was a troll!! :devil

BTW, GE's art is an F14 with giant fish hooks instead of vertical stabs.  :devil

The funniest part about the Top Gunz, was that so many people who should have known better, bit on it.  A few of us would try and tell folks, don't bite, this sure smells like stinky bait, but they'd go ballistic and try and rip the Top Gunz a new one day after day after day.

Don't get TOO full of yourself, Gunzo. Why NOT fight him again?

The entertainment value alone might be worth a big draw. You could make an SEA out of it and allow observers, much like we butcher birds do when Notch calls a BB of the Roost (BBotR) competition.

Otherwise, I'm not trying to go too hard on SkyRock, though, it does seems that, if he lost, he should own it - and to his credit, he hasn't disavowed the fact of losing.

That, and I just like the visual conjured by my colorful language.

I'd set it up like a BBotR.

I mean, if you're trying to determine the best stick, breadth of experience and knowledge of type strengths/tactics to suit should count.

Hence, I'd have an impartial moderator who enables one type of plane chosen at the time by that moderator. He'd enable that plane only, you'd take off from opposite runways and, after some initial separation, the fight would be on.

Rinse and repeat after that... you could make it loser (or winner or the moderator again) of the first round picks the second round, and so on.

Then we'd all get to WATCH somebody roll somebody else over and make him "bee-otch hangar queen for the day".

I considered that but there's always the possibility of interference - and resultant whining/equivocating.

CM Eye Mode... THAT'S the term I was looking for. We use that when we do our BBotRs. If/when you get shot down by your squaddies, you can watch your other squaddies kill each other. It's wonderful.

In fact, I'd say it opens a whole new possibility: The Ladder.

It'd need to be enabled by a new type of Arena: the 1:1 deathmatch arena.

Basically, you could call out the ugly mofo above you in the ladder, take him into the deathmatch arena, and settle the issue there. As in a cesspool, the truly big chunks could thus rise to the top.

It's no one in the 479th, nor would Murdr attack friends he's known and flew with for years in such a manner.

We know that Gunzo also uses the name TinTin, which used to be Zeus/Artious in the MW arena and still occasionally pops in as TinTin.  My question is, why the nerd rage he displays at times?  Anyone that's flown in the MW arena has seen TinTin fly into these nerd rages under his various shade accounts.  Also, what's up with changing his CPID after he gets shot down?

Sure, Gunzo/TinTin/Zeus/Artious/YogiBear might be a good stick but he's someone that clearly has some serious mental issues if you've witnessed any of his nerd rages while he's flying under one of his shade accounts.

If snozzle=gunzo, there is already a film showing the winner fair and square...but so what?   If snozzle isn't gunzo.... so what?

We know that Gunzo also uses the name TinTin, which used to be Zeus/Artious

ack-ack

I knew that was him lol we were having a 3v3 once in the DA and the first time he ran the whole way in a spit 1 back to his base and hid in the ack until TJ and Grizz got bored and augered/died in ack.....and then landed the kills  :lol Then we had a 1v1 in 109s which ended in about 10 minutes of flat turning on the deck it was weird to say the least he then made a run for it when I started gaining in the turn and went over the crest of a hill trying to use the hill as cover to hide his turn back into me I then ran out of fuel  :lol I thought he was having a laugh with me but he was all gf and <S> at the end of it :huh

I'd like to think hes just having a laugh the alternative frame of mind is a bit scary to be honest   :uhoh

Nothing, I guess.  But I'd march in there to check it out the same as I went in to watch the Mime/Lute fights long ago (I pretty much "found" the DA that night).  The two start fighting, others come in and start fighting, before you know it there's a good cluster of 1v1's to be had.  It's not about seeing who wins (I do find it interesting to see how people win).

Im guessing with the history or topgunz.  He will wear a topgunz shirt to the next conv and take it off revealing who he really is. Maybe he will post his real avatar.

Wow lots of history I wasnt around for. But this has to be one of the best threads so far.

To bad he doesn't want to take the show into the DA so he can slap me around in front of an audience.

Cool by me.   Personally I feel Skyrock has nothing to gain by persisting. If gunzo=snozzle, the results will probably be the same, gaining Skyrock nothing.  If gunzo isn't snozzle, and Skyrock wins, Skyrock gains nothing... he still lost fair and square to snozzle.  Either way, Skyrock will remain Skyrock, a fine fellow and skilled cartoon pileit....nothing will change.

Mark is one of the few who has always been honest and stuck to his guns (no pun intended) and flown straight with me.   All he does if leave the hook with bait on it, some just cannot resist on biting down on it.

Many late night phone chats with him, met him last year in Dayton and pretty solidified a friendship.

I meant that if the guy is snozzle, we know he is a capable pilot.  I watched the film Mark, he beat you fair and square.

Badboy

nice poem snozzle. :aok

well, you predicted the same outcome......  I am guessing, predicting even..... a different outcome....and, since I have fought snozzle more than 4 times...maybe more than 40..... I would be willing to bet my account for 6 months that he could not beat me two out of three right now..... :aok

Sorry for bumping this thread but can someone explain to me snozzles style of fighting? He seems to be almost matching whatever SkyRock is doing and waiting till SkyRock tries to change the style of fight to make his move for a shot..am I right about this or am I missing something in the videos

He holds E on the merge and keeps it.  He makes zero offensive maneuvers and just hovers above his opponent and holds that sight E edge until one of two things happen.

1) the opponent stalls out

2) the oppenent gets bored and give 'em position to try and get a fight started.

It's effective.

Granted, w/o that energy advantage he's "decent" at best, but with energy very effective at this one singular style of fighting.

This guy also has a reputation for grabbing for altitude above the agreed merge altitude out of sight and then diving to the agreed merge altitude before the merge to have more energy than you.

Actually, was referring to Gunzo/TinTin's antics in the DA.  He's widely known for skirting the rules to gain an advantage before the merge using tactic in my previous post.

thats weak....I think i saw him doing this too where you empty your guns a bit to lose wait. Ive heard of K4 pilots dumping the mg but that is almost fine seeing most of them just use the tator. I do this in the MA in the mossy, batfink was doing it one day, and it does help a bit bringing the 303 rounds down to about 1000 :salute
