Any of you Grapevine boneheads know her?  I just found out she was the daughter of Ravi Shankar.  Nice voice...

Norah's hot, but Ravi's other daughter Anoushka Shankar a hottie as well.   She plays the first Set of "A Concert For George".

First: I would destroy her like she was Yavin IV and I was the Deathstar......

Second: She is the hottest vocalist AND songwriter on the planet (in a close competition with Jewel).

Third: If you don't own or have access to any of her recordings you are a damned fool, like the Damned dirty apes in Planet of the Apes. Clueless to the existence of something this remarkable.

She is the closest I think anyone alive today will come to a virtuoso in the genera of pop/jazz. I'd say she belongs in the realm of almost any jazz great, and almost any pop composer.

...I'm a sucker for female vocalists in general. Natalie Merchant, Sarah McLachlan, Beth Orton... heck... even Imogen Heap is interesting.
