Title: Ki-67
Post by: Pyro on August 27, 2001, 01:15:00 PM
Anybody know of any good references to the Ki-67?  I'm looking for a 3d cutaway and interior photos, particularly of the gun positions.  Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure if it has what you want in it, but it is a book dedicated to the Ki-67 and Ki-109: http://www.schifferbooks.com/military/aviationjaprus/0764303503.html (http://www.schifferbooks.com/military/aviationjaprus/0764303503.html)

It'll cost you one person's monthly subscription though.   ;)

Please let their be a 410 in the near future.....  Pyro et me tell you how many moe people it would bring to the game with just that simple introduction.  I did a case study and found a whopping 890 users would fly if just this plane were added.  Now multiply that over the course of a year and you see what kind of benefits it would bring.  Can we say new speedboat?  Please fulfill a dream of a lot of the users in here with this addition.  I have no more to say except we want twins baby.

Ok this is a tad off topic, but what was good about the ME410? didn't go into the books as a failure?

Not a troll I am truely interested.
Title: Ki-67
Post by: AG Sach on August 28, 2001, 04:09:00 PM
Me-210 was a failure, the 410 did its role well until the advent of the long range escort fighters and the demise of the german air industry.  410 was a nice plane 210 just had err some flaws in it :)

Post by: Gtoraii on August 28, 2001, 04:19:00 PM
so its role was pounding bombers?  did they ever load like 50mm or larger guns on them?

In the main arena wouldnt this plane die fast?

I have all the sources mentioned.  Mitsu, if you have anything else, please send it.

P.S.  My asking for references to a particular plane does not necessarily mean it will be in the next version.  Just fair warning so you don't take this kind of stuff as being an announcement.

Mitsu, ty sir :)

Yes I ment sweet, my spelling is almost as bad as my typing :) plese excuse me.

Your book went for a good cause Mitsu<S>, cool of Pyro to offer to replace it.

Those Ho 103's and the Ho 5 are amasing guns, lighter and faster firing than a 50 cal and loaded with HEI rounds, very nasty.

Does any body have the specks on the torpedos? warhead weight and spead/range handy?

Dude, never cut up a book, it's bad Karma. I have a picture of F4U's and P-51's flying in formation together, it's beautiful and I would luv to scan it but I can't make myself cut a book.

My wife knows that my books are like antiques. I would die if anything happened to them.

I have a scanner that will scan books very well. It is a rather small scanner so the page you are trying to scan will lay flat while the other part of the book hangs off the side. Then i just drop a towel over it to keep outside light from comming in and bingo.
