A nooblet Bishop pilot takes on what he believes will be an easy adversary,
a Curtiss P-40E Kittyhawk of the LCAAF (Loose Cannons Alliance Air Force).
What he doesn't know is that this ain't no scared kitty cat.
This kitty bites back! ;)
I made this movie to try out some new techniques and to learn how
to better use Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 8. I was trying to recreate
the feel of a World War II newsreel/training film being played on a 16mm
film projector. I leave it up to you to tell me how it turned out. :pray

Great intro, looked authentic. The icons should be off, but I think you were filming in game, so that's probably why. Overall looked good sir. :aok

Great job Delta, only thing I would add would be to lighten up the shots with water in background a bit and increase the overall contrast just ever so slightly.
I am ready to see more <S>

I agree.
Thats one of the reasons I filmed with the tags on.
I don't think people would have been able to follow
the 109 were it not for the lighter tags.
But hey, still learning! I appreciate all the feedback!

Nice jobe! Imagine how much nicer it would have been if the P40 was updated! (Hint Hint :D)

Intro was great, gun sounds were a bit loud for me. Overall, great job.

I love taking the P40 and just playing bait. Everyone thinks "Ooo P-40 easy kill for me", and they will leave the target they are on to get the "easy kill". Just fly around and watch your comrades shoot every plane down. :devil

Awesome Delta.. love it :rock

That was a great film, Delta. I loved it. I always enjoy movies like this, characterized by:
-- Sound effects so I can hear the action
-- Music that relates to the WW2 time period
-- Some kind of logical "flow" (such as a the take-off, and complete engagement that you showed).
The aged film effects contributed to my enjoyment too. A keeper!

Great vid man!!! :aok Only thing I think that would have made this more would be if it were gun cam. But thats just my personal opinion

I just realized... Doesn't "Kittyhawk" refer to P-40B/C models? Didn't Warhawk start with the P-40E and later?
